Chapter 31: THE JET EXPERIENCE
ISABELLA POV:
I was shocked to find him at the airport and when he offered me his help, I was really surprised, I can never understand this man.
"Miss Miller can you please walk fast, we have to reach our destination soon".
Again that devil Aiden is back.
Yes Sir.
As we went inside his jet, I was so surprised, his jet was really big, with every facility, and the seats look so comfortable.
"Miss have your seat, Sir will be in his room".
I looked up and saw a man, I think he is his secretary.
Ya, ya thank you so much and could you please give me your Boss's account number I really need it.
He gave me his account details and I immediately transferred the amount. Now I feel a lot better.
Suddenly Mr. grumpy came outside and sat just across from me.
"Sir, you are not resting in your room".
"No Robert I have some pending work and I have to see through some documents so I will seat here."
Oh no, I have to spend 8 hours with him, that too sitting so close, Oh God please help me.
The jet took off and I took out his book, which I was reading, but I can't show him this, so I decided to take a random magazine and cover his book, and then I started reading.
As I was reading my eyes fell on him, he was working so intently and he wore a spec, that spec made his eyes look hotter. He was biting his lips lightly and suddenly I remembered that night, how he grabbed me and pulled me on his lap, how his fingers felt on my bare back, and finally our kiss.
"Miss Miller do I have something on my face".
Huh, Oh shit he caught me staring at him, and he gave me his famous smirk. What will I say now?
I was not staring at you, I huffed.
He again pulled his bottom lip and replied.
"I never said you were staring, do you want to say something".
Will I tell him sorry for that kiss, how I desperately acted, and all the nonsense which I spoke?
Sir, I remembered something about that night. He looked at me with amusement in his eyes
"So did you remember everything Miss Miller, I mean you remember all those words right"?
My face was now like a complete tomato, how can I be so stupid,
Ya, I remember everything, Sir.
"Oh ok, that's good to know".
I am sorry about that kiss, I blurted out fast.
He looked at me and again I saw that intense blue stare, he was looking at me as if he could see my soul.
"Mistakes happen, Miss Miller, don't worry about that, you were not in your senses".
He spoke with no emotion and held a cold face. Why did that hurt so much, why I am feeling like this? No, he is right that was a mistake, but it was my first kiss, at almost 23, I had my first kiss and now that happens to be a mistake. Great what luck I got.
He again started doing his work and I started reading the book.
I don't know when I fell asleep, but I was shaken by someone.
"Miss we will land soon".
I got up and saw that Aiden is nowhere to be seen, my book, as well as the magazine, is kept aside. I just hope he hasn't seen this.
Soon the flight landed, and I saw him coming out of a room, lipstick stain was on his lips and then I saw another woman coming outside from that room. This man has no shame at all, how can someone have sex in a jet that too when his grandpa is sick? I was right, he is a selfish, arrogant, jerk, with no character.
I stood up and thanked his secretary then turn towards the exit.
I was moving out of the airport when I saw a black car, it stopped just in front of me.
"Do you want a lift mam", his secretary Robert asked me.
No Sir, I am fine, I can manage. I saw him telling Robert something, and then they left.
I booked a cab and just prayed that granny is fine.
I reached the hospital soon and saw mom waiting.
"Oh Bella you came, we just discharged your granny."
Mom, what happened, I mean you sounded so serious, I hope granny is fine.
"Yes Bella, your granny suddenly collapsed, and so we came here, the doctor informed us, that your granny doesn't have much time left, and she is experiencing some sort of stress. He asked us to keep her happy Bella".
Mom, I am here now, I will take care of granny, I told Grace that I will do WFH for some time.'.
"Oh your granny really misses you, Bella, thank you so much for coming here".
Mom, don't thank me, I love granny very very much and you know that. I can do anything for her.
"Really you can do anything," Mom asked with so much enthusiasm.
Ya mom, anything.
That moment I never knew granny will ask me to do something, which will change my life forever.
