Reacher glanced at all the weapons before him, as he looked at a bow made with Bronze 2 Stars abominations materials, but even the cheapest bow made with Bronze 1 Star materials cost 1,500 Credits and a quiver with 20 arrows cost another 500 Credits, for a total of 2,000 Credits for the set.
A bow would be useful as it would allow him to attack long range, as he would be able to attach a black hole to the tip of the arrow, but using a bow didn't give him the adrenaline he wanted, but he still used his [Creation] ability on it and stopped it once all the information entered his head.
Maybe he would need it down the line, it was better to have it than not have it, it's always good to be cautious.
Reacher had noticed that his sword which was gifted by his sister was made out of materials from a Bronze 1-star abomination, he figured his sister would have continued to buy him better swords as he progressed, unfortunately, she disappeared before seeing her little brother grow into a fine young man.
And when he killed that Bronze 2-star boar, he noticed how resistant it was to his attack, although he kept his blackhole limited at the beginning to kill a Bronze 1-star boar, the hide of the Bronze 2-star was tougher, and harder so even though he could simply increase the force of his black hole like before, it wouldn't;t hurt to upgrade his sword, but in his own way.
Ignoring that though he looked at swords and used his ability like before, his ability allowed him to fix things to his liking like he was a drawer with a fresh canvas, he didn't want to throw away or discard his sister's gift, so he will simply upgrade it, and fix it to be better.
He eyed the swords and analyzed the one he liked, before exiting the shop, and the trading hall entirely.
...
...
...
As arriving home, Reacher felt a sense of relief wash over him. He had been gone for what felt like forever, and all he wanted was to relax and unwind in the comfort of his own home. But before he could fully settle in, he took out his sister's sword - a beautiful and intricately designed piece.
He took it out of its sheath, feeling its weight and balance in his hands.
With a deep breath, he activated his [Creation] ability.
As he focused his mind on the sword, he began to see it in a new light.
He started to fix it to his liking, upgrading the materials to make it stronger and more durable than ever before. But even as he made these changes, he kept the original appearance of the sword intact.
After 30 minutes, everything was finished, as Reacher eyed the sword he saw it was the same as before, but it still shined brighter than before.
It was lighter than before, and sharper too, as the hilt of the sword was swapped with a Bronze Mutant Treant 2 star, as the wrap for the hilt was swapped with the webs of a Bonze 2 Star Spider, and the actual blade came swapped with multiple refined compressed from Bonze 2 Star Ice Wolf's fangs, which was formed and shaped into a metal blade.
As he examines the weapon, his eyes are immediately drawn to the wood of the hilt. It was been polished so expertly that it looks as if it could have come straight out of the heart of a tree. The smooth finish was flawless, and the warmth of the rich brown color catches someone's attention, as it almost seems to glow in the light.
His fingers come to rest on the spider web wrap, which is intricately woven around the hilt. The webbing was delicate and white, but it was strong enough to provide an excellent grip. As he held the sword, he could feel the slightly cold touch of the spider webbing, which added a touch of elegance to the overall appearance of the weapon. His gaze then drifted to the blade, which had a silver hue and was shaped to a perfect curve. The blade seems to glisten in the light, and the icy blue hue shimmers as it catches the light. The curves of the blade were so smooth that he couldn't help but imagine how effortlessly it would slice through the air.
Reacher let out a deep sigh as he looked at it, before he put it away, and lay on his bed.
After hunting twenty-four boars for a whole day, and creating a pair of giant ass wings Reacher's body was feeling quite heavy, along with his mental capacity.
Once Reacher hit the bed he fell asleep instantly with his headphones still on.
...
...
...
Once Reacher woke up the next morning he looked at the time and saw it was 5 AM, so he hopped into the shower before eating some breakfast.
Reacher sat on his sofa after eating as he scrolled through the calendar on his phone, 'It's Sunday...'
Which would mean he would have to go back to school tomorrow, so he figured he might as well get all his hunting done today.
Reacher left his house at 6 AM as he walked towards the city gates, he saw the same two guards along with a new third person, who gained the respect of the two guards, as the guards were looking at the third figure with respectful expressions.
As Reacher got closer he saw who the third person was.
In his school, there were both those who weren't cultivators and those who were.
So there was a special class before they either went to a Sect or went to Military School, and the third person was the teacher for the cultivation class.
Reacher didn't pay them any attention as he was about to walk through the gate.
"Mr. Reacher." A voice suddenly called out to him.
'Fuck me...' he sighed as he turned around to face the teacher who was the one who spoke, with a fake smile on his face.
"Professor."
"I was wondering if that was you, well you are the only kid with white hair, I recently heard of your 'awakening' congratulations, as expected from a Reacher."
"Thank you, Professor, now if you'll excuse me," Reacher spoke calmly as he was about to turn around.
"You know even though you just recently awakened yesterday it's still dangerous to head in there with headphones on." the teacher said as he looked at the headphones on Reacher's head.
"Their fine Professor Norton, they're related to my spiritual roots, without them I'm afraid I'll be incapacitated."
"He's right Professor Norton, yesterday he came back with a backpack filled to the brim with boar horns." One of the guards spoke, the same one who also warned Reacher about his headphones.
"Oh is that right, it's a shame you kept putting it off, but even if you're in your final semester it's better late than never, anyway, this is a good thing, as I happened to be needing to hunt for some plants for my alchemy, even though you're a Reacher it would hurt to have some additional pointers." Professor Norton spoke with an amicable smile.
He made this deduction on a plethora of observations, as he could see the sword on Reachers back going from his left waist to his shoulder, and although it was sheathed he could see it was still made out of Bronze 1-star materials.
So he figured like his sister, he was a close-combat cultivator.
Along with him hunting alone, actually going out to hunt alone for the second time while he was still an Initiate Elementary Spirit Realm, which meant that this boy was not just an ordinary student, as few people could hunt monsters of the same rank alone unless they had a powerful spiritual root or were extremely skilled.
He also bore the name Reacher, so figured just like his sister he can't be ordinary.
Reacher looked at Professor Norton, from what he knew in Starry Night Academy which was located in Starry Sky City, which was the city they resided in, he knew that Norton was highly respected at the Academy, ranking only second in strength among teachers, just behind the Academies Principal. A Middle Elementary Spirit Realm Cultivator, in Starry Sky City this person could already be considered a peak power, having a high rank in the army as well as a lot of prestige wherever he went.
That's all Reacher knew about Professor Norton of the Starry Night Academy.
Reacher mauled it over, technically there was no reason for him to accept, but there was also no reason for him to decline, the only thing he could gain from this would be transferred to the cultivator class, which he would be but to be referred to by a teacher was better.
"Sure, I don't mind," Reacher spoke with a fake smile.
"Let's go then. The place where the mutated plants I'm looking for is in a Bronze 2 Stars abominations zone, but on the way, there are some Bronze 1 Star abominations, which you can deal with while I give you some tips," Professor Norton said with a smile as he started walking towards the plant abominations.
Reacher noticed that the professor probably thought he could only handle Bronze abomination 1 Star since he was just an Initiate Elementrey Spirit Cultivator but he didn't bother correcting the man.
After all, even though he was a Reacher, everyone had their limits.
Reacher figured it would be better to just act normally and kill all the abominations that came. In the worst case, if he couldn't kill some Bronze abomination 2 Stars, the professor could help him at that moment.
It would be a favorable situation for both of them.
With a 'smile' on his face, Reacher followed the professor as he walked with his sword unsheathed, and alert.
Meanwhile, Professor Norton just kept quiet as he watched first how Reacher intended to deal with the monsters so that later he could give Reacher any necessary tips to improve.
What he was thinking was exactly what Reacher thought.
Seeing how this young student didn't brag that he could kill Bronze 2 Stars abominations like most young people who wanted to please him did, already made Norton's view of Reacher much more pleasing to the eye.
A handsome student, with good aptitude, and attitude, willing to go hunting alone on weekends without classes, and mostly humble - it was hard for Norton not to find this student interesting.
It was what he expected from a Reacher.
