"About time!" She shouted at him, attempting to deflect another slash of the mutant's claws only for it to whizz past her shield and tear off chunks of her arm's armor. "Hurry up and come kill this thing!"

Another three minutes had passed, granting her another three increases to her speed, but with the mutant's breath distracting and confusing her senses, she might as well be fighting in the dark.

And as they always had, their spears bounced off the mutant's skin, leaving nary a scratch behind as it rampaged among them. A damaging Spell was the only way they could kill this thing, and Essenla didn't have any of those in her pocket besides the lackluster Candle Fire.

Morne stopped a few feet away from the encirclement, hearing the sounds of battle but unable to see it.
