Chapter 66: INTERMISSION

In the second day after Alfraed's departure to assist his older siblings-in law on a quest, there was an event occurring in Herbs & Lotions.

The afternoon sun bathed the building in its warm light, and tiny specks of dust seemed to dance full of beans in the sunlight that slanted through the window. The children were trying to catch it as if they were real fairies.

Everyone in the store performed wonderfully well, and managed to complete their tasks ahead of time for today.

This performance owing to effective supervision and guidance conducted by Alfraed's trusted employees; Elise, Lisa, and Beno.

That being the case, none retreated to the comfort of their homes just yet.

"Dear colleagues, we are grateful for your hard work. As previously informed, information session regarding new procedure for payroll will begin. So, please stay until the end" announced Elise to the whole employees.
