Chapter 53: Chapter fifty-two

Asleep Avery was hearing snippets of little noises as if someone was moving around and murmuring in low tunes. she tried to tune the noise out and continue her sleep but she has already been awakening by the noise and couldn't go back to sleep.

She opened her eyes to see Jada all dressed up going towards the door. she wondered where she could be going by this time of the morning.

"Where are you going? " She asked from the bed, rising on her elbow staring in the woman's direction.

"To take care of a little teen addict. That was what the woman said, and she was out the door. 

What did the woman mean by that? Does she have a daughter who is an addict? If she had a daughter shouldn't she be with her, Avery's inner voice argued, unless she is with her father Avery argued back, but all these were speculations.
