Chapter 26: RECORDING

Ashley held Anne's face gently as their gazes locked.

"I've dealt with them, so don't be afraid," he reassured her.

"I know, I'm not afraid," she said quickly, removing his hand and turning away.

"You were great, I took a video," Sofia remarked excitedly, giving him a thumbs up.

"You should delete the video," Ashley said to Sofia, smiling.

Sofia pouted, "OK, I'll," she said sadly, before deleting the video.

"Oh, Anne, you're all crimson!" Sofia exclaimed as she noticed Anne's flushed cheeks.

"Are you all right?" Ashley inquired, concerned, and attempted to touch her face.

"You shouldn't do that," Anne said slowly, scratching her neck and looking down at her feet.

"Perhaps you're still afraid, let's go girls," Ashley clapped his hands and carried his bag.

Sofia quickly took Anne's hand in hers as they followed him.
