Chapter 26: A cute girl charming Prince
"Here, take my hand and get up," he said.
His light emerald eyes were a little similar to Theo's, but the sadness within it gave a mysterious vibe.
His hand reaching to help Theo but she was lost in her own thoughts, nervousness was written on her face and she didn't saw his hand reaching her and kept sitting on the ground.
Mike who was looking at Theo at one second and the young man at the other, gulped and quickly kneeled as he helped Theo up.
The young man felt a little weird cause Theo's eyes kept staring him.
"Is he in love with me or something?" he thought and looked another way to avoid Theo's stare.
"Your highness, your highness… wake up, don't stare him like that," Mike whispered.
Meanwhile in Theo's head the memories of the previous nights was running amok:
As she carried Kade Lilit on her shoulder out of his room to take him to the temple, she moaned, "Ah.. he is too heavy!".
The ground floor was heavily guarded and she unfortunately bumped into Kade's Lilit adopted son while sneaking out from the garden.
His reaction was unusual as he didn't shouted for help rather he said, "Are you an assassin?".
Theo gulped and looked around in thought that someone else must be there for the person to be so calm in front of her.
She silently nodded as she neither heard, nor saw any other person then him.
"If you are here to assassinate him, then make sure that he dies for sure, or you will be in trouble," he replied with his soft voice while standing like a statue.
His eyes seemed dead with no hope and as he glanced at Kade's Lilit head, he smiled a little, "It would be very generous of you to kill a burden like him, I appreciate it and for that I will help you out from this place".
It was unbelievable and Theo gulped. She bit her lips and stared him, there was no sign of hesitation on his face and she said, "I am not killing him but maybe later, are you still willing to help me?".
He sighed, the faint smile left on his face faded away and he looked down as he bit his nails.
"That's a let down, but since you are willing to kill him later, I should help you out," he said.
Theo was shocked by his blunt nature and later he helped her in carrying Kade Lilit out of the bungalow, and as she left for the temple he showed her thumbs up and said, "Good luck!".
As Mike whispered in her ears, she got back to her senses and looked away from the emerald boy.
"Who is he? Is he following me all the way, but that can't be true! It doesn't look like, that he knows me and what with his unchanging dead eyes. It feels that he doesn't care about anything in this world," she mumbled.
He was simply looking at them, his hand carrying a pamphlet and some documents, "Since you have gotten up, I will be leaving".
Theo didn't speak a word as he left and continued staring him while standing there, "That's an weird personality he have got!".
Mike rolled his eyes as he heard her and mumbled "He is still more like a human then you and the Prince!".
She quickly glanced at Mike as she heard him. For Mike, he made sure that his voice doesn't reach Theo but since she have got a sensitive ear, she easily heard him and glared at him.
"What did you said?" she asked while frowning.
Mike gasped and shook his head quickly, "I was saying that he is the adopted son of the Lilit family, the one who recently become famous after being hung on the temple pillar".
Theo pressed her lips and nodded while thinking deeply.
"What took your attention and delayed your destined arrival?" Jasper said as he walked toward Theo.
Gird was following behind him and he showed Mike a throat cutting gesture. Mike panicked and started to sweat heavily, his eyes looking down and he peeked at Theo's aloof face which had no fear at all.
"Your highness, you should apologize to him for making him wait," he whispered as he felt Jasper ominous glare.
Theo turned her head toward him and gave him a glare, too, "Do you work for him or me?".
He gulped and silently stood there while looking down and pouting.
"Did I made you wait, then it's still your luck that I at least came here, now let's get going," she said and stepped forward but as she was about to pass by him, he grabbed her wrist and gently pulled her back.
"Who was he? Tell me, so that, I can kill him quickly," he said with his heavy and pressurizing voice.
The killing intent in his eyes were showing up, but Theo was confused as to why he wanted to kill a person for no reason and suddenly she felt proud "I was not as cruel as him in my previous life! I only killed those who wanted to kill me, but honestly, the whole empire wanted to kill me!".
"What are you thinking? Why aren't you saying anything?" Jasper asked while glaring her, his teeth grinding and expression looking like a whining wolf.
She slapped his hand away which was grabbing hers and stepped back, "Enough with this! There is no need to kill anyone, so forget about it and take me to the main office where I need to fill the forms you talked about".
He took a step toward her while frowning and wrapped his hand near her waist. Pulling her closer, he pulled her a little upward while looking at her face from above.
It was quite a nice pose but the only difference was that in others eyes, both were man and it looked more like a BL romance.
Theo heart was beating unusually and she pushed him away while backing off. Her eyes looking at the passerby who was giggling and enjoying the scene in middle of their walk.
"Why the heck did you do that?" she asked, her eyebrows furrowed.
He shrugged his shoulder and turned back, "If you want me to stop killing others, then you have to pay instead!".
She glared his back while grinding her teeth and fist clenched.
Gird was smiling brightly as it was the first time his master didn't harmed a person who he wanted to kill.
He was seeing an angel rather then Theo, his both hands sticking together while eyes sparkling, "His majesty will be very happy after knowing today's incident".
Theo felt a little creepy but she could do nothing then following Jasper as he walked toward the building.
She was walking behind him while lost in her own thoughts.
Jasper peeked behind, her dissipated face irritated him and he stopped.
Theo bumped into his back and winced, "Why did you stop?"
she said while caressing her nose. Ignoring her words, he again started to walk and as he noticed her steps toward him, he turned back and again stopped.
She again bumped into him, but this time her face bumped at his chest leaving the glossy lip balm mark of her lips on it.
She quickly backed off while frowning, "What now?" she shouted.
He chuckled and replied, "I forget to mention it to you, but I have already done the paper work instead of you, so there is no need for you to enter inside this building".
Theo lost her temper as she heard his word. He was simply toying with her and teasing her every moment as if it gave him immense pleasure.
Theo shut her eyes and raised her hands up to her head while clenching it. Her hands were itching to grab his hair and pull it out but all she could do was to imagine in her head and satisfy herself with it.
"Its too much! I can't bear with it anymore, I am craving to kill him," she thought and opened her eyes.
Looking at the building in front of her, she simply passed through Jasper and stepped at the stairs to enter the entrance door.
As soon as the stairs ended, her eyes opened wide in shock.
Since the marble ground was quite slippery, a girl while rolling her both hands and shouting crazily, she was sliding and going to bump into Theo after she lost her balance.
"Aaaaaa… help me!" that girl with two pony shouted.
Theo stepped aside but placed her hand near her abdomen as she was going to fall down the stairs.
"Today seems to be a bumpy day!" Theo mumbled.
She removed her hand from her belly as the girl stood properly.
The two pony girl was panting heavily while looking at the stairs and thinking about the consequences of falling down.
She turned back with a thankful gaze but rather then thanking her, she become petrified.
Theo waved her hand while being baffled. "Did she see a ghost? Why is she acting weirdly?" Theo thought and flinched back as she saw the pony tailed big and lewd smile.
"My prince!" she said with a big smile.
Theo gasped and looked around while thinking "How did she know that I am the new Prince when no one have seen my face, yet".
"My prince of dreams, at last you are here! Nara will never let you go!" she said while blinking and making a cute face.
