After a few more moments of just enjoying being wrapped in each other’s arms, Ryuu backed away to look at Jayde with a mischievous grin. Her answering smile encouraged him to sweep her up to carry her and she laughed, wrapping her arms around his neck. When he started walking towards the deeper end of the pool, Jayde started giggling. She tried to wiggle her way out of his arms, laughing when he held onto her no matter what she tried.
