Chapter 56: Punishment for cheaters

"I'm sorry Master Quince. But I refuse to be punished." Queen said haughtily and got up from her place.

She walked over to sit on the sofa and reached out her hand to the remote once more.

"The thing about punishment Miss Vancroft." Quince said as he too got up to walk over to the sofa, "It depends completely on the person who holds the power."

"The power?" Queen quirked one of her brows up,"Clearly I'm the one with power here since I just won."

"You cheated." Quince said in a low voice as he stood in front of her and bend his face down towards hers, completely towering over her. He used both his hands and place them at the side of her head, trapping her.

"And?" Queen asked challengingly, looking extremely proud, making Quince's forehead throb furiously.

"And, cheaters are supposed to be punished." Quince said and moved his face to hers.

Before he could do anything, Queen immediately wrapped her arms around Quince neck and pulled him towards her.

Quince lost his balance due to her sudden attack and Queen used that moment to reverse their position, with him sitting on top of the sofa and her sitting on his lap.

If Quince weren't feeling dizzy from his fever, there was no way that Queen would be able to pull down a man with his stature this easily.

"You were saying?" Queen asked as she used both her hands to rub Quince's hair softly. She had a devil may care smile on her face and she was practically oozing charm.

Queen wanted to ooze out everything dark,bad and dangerous like how she did when she was the prime minister. But with the position she was sitting and her beautiful face, she came out looking like an enchantress seducing her prey instead.

Though mainly, it's because the person in front of her was him, there was no way that she could have pulled it off.

Quince eyes darkened as soon as he saw the position they were in. Not to mention the expression on her face, tempting him to do something he shouldn't even consider.

'Does she even know what she's doing?' Quince wondered as his face darkened even further. He still remembered their kiss and how innocent her response was.

Her kiss was sweet and it took time for her to even breathe properly before being able to kiss him back. 'Which means, she has no idea that she is being the complete opposite of threatening.'

Quince immediately wrapped his arms around her waist, pulling her closer, while Queen yelped, surprised by his sudden move.

"What do you think you are doing?" Quince whispered against her ear. He meant to intimidate her and was hoping to scare her so she wouldn't use this move in the future. He wasn't sure if he would be able to control himself.

Queen merely let out bell like laughter, causing Quince chest to tighten due to various emotions. He could feel her body shake with laughter and something just seem to overflow in his heart.

"What do you think I'm doing?" Queen asked back against his ear before nipping on it.
