"I... I don't want to sleep anymore," Hazel slowly uttered, her face wet as the second passed. "I... don't...want to."

Lucifel continuously looked at her as she kept mumbling until the middle-aged woman said, "Excuse me, Your Highness."

Not knowing what she meant, he just gazed at her.

"I mean, excuse...from the bed."

"Oh..." He muttered and got out of bed before walking out of the chamber, giving them privacy.

The middle-aged woman looked at her assistant and then back at the young woman.

"My lady, can't we just tell His Highness that she would soon be dead since she isn't responding to treatment?" The young woman said, her face filled with little to zero hope.

The middle-aged woman knew that whatever her assistant was saying was true. "Then be ready to die with her," she said. There was no way they could tell the alpha that his soon-to-be wife wasn't responding to treatment.

They would be beheaded as a result and he would hire another.
