Instead of giving a rebuttal to the man she had helped, Vida ignored him and dropped the tray of food on the table beside the bed.

Sebastian's eyes traced her as she did, with her bending down, he could see more of her exposed legs and as a result, he moved his eyes away while clearing his throat.

"Here is your food, My Lord."

He was famished but that didn't mean he would eat anything served to him. He didn't reply and stood where he was, a line forming between his eyebrows.

Vida saw that he didn't move, so she told him, "I bought bandages and others for your wounds that weren't healing. I initially thought you were poisoned."

Sebastian scoffed without saying anything for a moment but when she remained silent as if expecting him to say something, he shook his head and then said, "So you made use of five domesends for buying bandages and it likes? A whole five domesends?"
