Chapter 112: A Fool Because Of Her

As a cold metallic blade with rough edges landed right on his neck, the guard paused in his track, his hand rubbing the handle of the rope in his hand. He had forgotten about the thorns circulating the length of the rope except the handle so his hands tightly pressed on the thorns in sudden fright and he groaned in pain before the person who was holding the sword into his neck came into view. "You… your highness. Is there anything wrong?"

Hazel's eyes slowly widened as she stared at the man who had also become visible since he stepped forward, holding a sword to the guard's neck.

For a moment, Hazel felt relieved, however, it did not last long as she recalled how harsh the prisoner ground was and he still sent her here.

So why was he here?

Since the guard saw that whoever had his sword on him was the alpha, he gulped his saliva down and as he did, the sword slowly pierced a bit into his neck, "Your Highness, what could I have done?"
