''Ma'am, you have a delivery.''

Ayana's eyes were greeted with the sight of a bouquet carried by her assistant who entered into the president's office.

''You should know my work ethics, Lisa.'' She blankly averted her gaze from the vibrant and colorful flowers, in contrast to the plain interior décor of the office.

Unnecessary gifts from the opportunistic flatterers or meddlesome relatives were disposed and taken care of with no need of her attention.

"There's a greeting card with the flowers, ma'am." Lisa quickly pointed out. "It's from the Kratos family." She added after a brief hesitation.

Kratos family?

Ayana froze, her pen hovering above the document.

 'Did the old master send something again?' She wondered silently and let out a subtle sigh.

"You can leave the flowers then." Ayana dismissed Lisa with a casual wave, focusing her attention back to her work.
