Chapter 29: Preparations

After saying his goodbyes to his new friends and exchanging Stosis IDs, a way for cultivators to contact each other between Heavens, Orion hopped on Vilgax's back as they set off.

"We're very proud of you kiddo, you did very well!" Happily exclaimed Hera as she ruffled Orion's hair.

Smiling in embarrassment, Orion could only accept the endless praises his parents sent his way.

"On another note, I suggest you learn a few Dao Arts related to dream force so you can use your affinity better." Said Eros.

"I agree, I already have a plan for that."

"A plan?" Curiously asked Hera.

"According to a lot of scholars of the clan, the very Quintessence of the soul is called Dream Source. Using my affinity, once I awaken my soul, I plan on using a Dao Technique to force my soul into mutating my spiritual force so that my use of dream force solely becomes internal." He calmly said, greatly surprising his parents.

"Hm? Why would you want to limit yourself to internal use of dream force? Isn't it at its strongest when it affects reality?" Asked Eros in confusion.

"Most people think dream force is meant to express one's inner vision and bring things to life or even blur the line between truth and falsehood and while it can do that, it's not what defines dream force. The essence of dream force is to amplify the vision of the dreamer to the point it becomes real. Yes, by amplifying one's dream it brings it to life, yes it alters reality but fundamentally, it's just pushing an idea." He answered, his eyes glowing with an ancient allure of wisdom as he nearly fell into enlightenment.

'Damn, I was so close!'

Left speechless by Orion's unusually deep comprehension of dream concepts, Hera asked.

"How do you know this?"

"I don't know, just feels logical."

"Well, if you need help you can always go talk to the ancestors." Said Eros with a chuckle, not surprised by Orion's words.

'Hopefully you don't repeat his mistakes. The line between truth and falsehood is just as thin as the line between dreams and nightmares…'

As soon as Orion returned, he immediately went into seclusion. He would've preferred to spend these last few moments with his parents but their schedule became way too hectic due to preparations for their soon to come expedition.

Sat cross legged in a cave, his breathing was calm and even.

"At the very least, I have to reach the Late Blood stage." He resolutely said.

"I don't see the need to be honest. Polishing your foundation should be your current goal." Answered Vulkron.

"I keep telling you, my body's adaptability is off the charts and even then, I'm sure I'll eventually get an ability that'll be able to stabilise my foundation in the unlikely case that it's unstable."

"Though I passed the trial, if it wasn't for my dream runes boosting the potency of my blood force and allowing me to completely and perfectly heal in an instant, I would've probably died. After a certain level, relying on dream runes won't be enough and that's not the path I wish to take either way."

With a wave of his hand, two tubes of blood appeared in front of him, without pausing, he took the first and gulped it down.

[Holy Scrivion of Hope Bloodline.]

Immediately, his blood boiled as his bones and organs violently shook, as if unsatisfied by his current power.

Violently vomiting droves of dark liquids, Orion felt his entire existence be purged of all impurities but this was only the beginning as his bones shattered and his skin peeled off.

His body become akin to a mush of blood and bones before a blinding golden aura enveloped him and continuously cleansed and refined his body.

SKREEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

The resounding avian screech of a powerful beast resounded as Orion's body reformed and his figure burst with untold amounts of blood force.

Before the pain could settle, he immediately grabbed the second tube as he gulped it down as well.

[Emperor Phoenix of Life and Death Bloodline.]

This time, his body didn't burst apart as the Phoenix's blood couldn't seem to find any imperfection within his body so it simply strengthened him.

The essence of life, death and rebirth was seeped into his very bones as Orion's body was surrounded by crimson flames capable of burning the fabric of existence and azure flames capable of freezing time itself.

Runes slithered throughout his body as a form of endless power coursed through his veins.

BOOOOOM!

A massive amount of blood force burst out of his body as his face bore a devilish smile.

Before he could enjoy the fruits of his new bloodline, a mighty dragon roar coming from his very origin resounded as he fell to his knees, his body nearly rupturing from the pressure of his bloodlines.

His Dragon and Phoenix bloodlines violently battled within him as his face paled and he endlessly puked his insides.

SLAP!

Slapping himself awake, Orion focused as he sat cross legged and start chanting the {Chaos Finality} mantra.

This mantra was a very simple one. It invoked special runes that fed upon the chaos within something and strengthened the vessel carrying it.

Crimson runes appeared all over Orion's body as his fleshy power soars through the roof, his mere presence causing the earth to rumble and skies to churn.

At this moment, something unexpected happened.

The runes that formed Orion's Origin Emperor Titan body appeared as they fused with the runes of chaos finality, mutating his physique.

Golden runes appeared, devouring all runes present on his body as they quickly multiplied, rapidly covering his entire body.

In that moment, the Origin Chaos Titan Emperor Body was born.

Orion's strength endless soared as the runes fully seared into his flesh, blood, bones and organs.

After a while, his bloodlines became docile under the overwhelming might of his physique as a primal roar couldn't help but escape his lips, shaking the entire sealed realm he was in.

"ARGHHHHH!"

With four powerful god grade bloodlines flowing through his veins, Orion comfortably sat in the middle stages of the realm of blood.
