Chapter 18: Chapter 18 (Noelia an Original)
"You guys just took them out like they were a bunch of rag dolls," I said when I rolled down the window.
"You should have told us she was a vampire, Lord Ascelin," Zero said coming to open the car door and help me out.
"What are you doing..." I mumbled watching Zero circle around me like he was analyzing me.
"A clothing spell, someone used dark magic to make you human," Zero said standing in front of me.
"Ascelin, said my mother did it before she died..."
"Impossible, vampire can't cast spells unless they're..." Zora said before quickly turning to look at Ascelin, "Natasha Rose Merchant, the powerful witch hybrid...impossible."
"What?" I asked taking a step towards Zora, wondering what Zora is talking about because it seems like I'm finally about to get answers that Ascelin wouldn't tell me.
"No way, Noelia is just a stupid human..." Violet said and I rolled my eyes, "beside there is no way this girl is a descendant from someone so powerful."
"Noel is not human, by the taste of her blood there is definitely a spell..."
"Wasn't you suppose to forget that?" Ascelin glared over at Jarmee.
"Oh....."
"You bit her!" Violet roared walking over to Jarmee then Ascelin stopped her before she could get to him.
"I asked him too..." I said.
"Let's discus all of this at home, we need to get out of here," Ascelin said coming to me, "get rid of the bodies and meet me in my office in an hour."
"Yes, Lord," They all bowed. Ascelin put me back into the car before going to the driver and drove as the creep squad cleaned up their mess.
"You are not stopping me from being in your office..." I said putting on my seatbelt.
"I wasn't planning too, but I do need to tell you a few things before we talk to others," Ascelin sighed and I became worried at his nervous face.
"What is it?"
(An hour later)
"I still don't understand why you kept all of this from me?" I said sitting in Ascelin lap with my arms around his neck.
"I was just a stranger to you just a few weeks ago, I didn't know how to tell you," Ascelin said rubbing my thigh.
"Do you think I know this Kol guy?" I asked running my hands through his hair, "if I'm able to turn back into a vampire will I be able to retrieve my memory."
"If the spell took your memory away, yes, you will," Ascelin said and I smiled.
"Awesome," I smiled thinking about what I have to do to become a vampire again.
Knock! Knock!
My eyes went towards the door, Ascelin told them to come in as everyone excepted Zero walked through the door.
"Noelia, you're a vampire?" Sydney asked surprised but happy at the same time.
"That's what everyone been telling me," I mumbled catching Violet glancing at the position I was in on Ascelin lap and how his hand was on my upper thigh. Violet might be a bitch, but I can tell she has some feelings for Ascelin which is why she hates me. I don't know how long Violet and Ascelin had known each but I feel bad for Violet because I know how it feels to love someone that loves someone else. So, whenever she's around i'm not going to be intimate in any type of way with Ascelin. She already knows that Ascelin is mine so why I need to shove it in her face, it's not very lady like and if she respected my wishes then I will respect hers.
So in that, I get up from Ascelin lap and walk over to sit in the chair next to his desk. He looked at me confuse wondering why I got up but I just smiled before looking over at Violet to see her look at me.
"We have a lot to talk about so let's get started," Jarmee said going to sit on the couch a few feet away as the girls sit in the chair in front of his desk.
"Where Zero?" Ascelin asked Zora.
"Said he need to run a errand, we can start without him," Zora said before glancing at me, "is she really a Merchant?"
"Yes!" Ascelin sighed out finally admitting defeat to hide this from everyone.
"My best friend is a Merchant!" Sydney gasped.
"I bite a Merchant vampire!" Jarmee gasped.
"You what?" Sydney growled going over to Jamree and putting him in a choke hold.
"Sydney!" I gasped standing up from my seat.
"Did he hurt, Noelia, because I don't care who he is I'll kill him if he did..." Sydney said as I run over to them.
"I would never hurt Noel," Jarmee choked out. I pulled Sydney away from Jarmee getting in the middle of him.
"I asked him too," I said glancing down at a coughing Jarmee, "he didn't hurt me."
"I didn't know biting you will lead to me getting choked a couple of times," Jarmee said getting up standing close behind me.
"I'm sorry, Jarmee," Sydney said going back to sit on Merkai lap.
"Are you ok?" I asked placing my hand on Jarmee's.
"I'm fine," Jarmee smiled and I nod.
"I have a question," I said turning to everyone, "who is the Crescent?"
"You don't remember your parents?" Merkai asked and I shook my head.
"I don't remember anything about my parents except the night they was killed," I said.
"Oh, I'm sorry," Merkai said turning to Ascelin, "do you think the spell took her memory away?"
"Possibly," Ascelin said looking out the window and I sighed.
"If we break the spell then I'll turn back into a vampire," I said walking back over to the desk.
"How we do that?" Zora asked and I frown looking over at Ascelin.
"Well, in order for Rose to turn back into a vampire I have to kill her..."
"What?" Sydney and Jarmee screamed.
"Like Jarmee has said once before, Noelia blood is humans, but there is a small amount of vampire blood in her system. I have to take all or most of her human blood from her body so the vampire blood can override the rest of her blood turning her back into a vampire." Ascelin said glancing over at me.
"What's so hard about that?" Sydney asked.
"Why don't you go taste her blood?" Ascelin said and my heart start pumping faster looking over at Sydney. Sydney went paler than usually looking over at me then over at Jarmee.
"I'll do it!" Violet said getting up and my eyes widen.
"No offense but no!" I said, Violet smile.
"Scared I might hurt you," Violet said walking over to me.
"Kind of," I said and she rolled her eyes.
"I'm not, I promise you," Violet said but I was still a little skeptical.
"I prefer Sydney to do it," I said looking over at Sydney.
"Stop being a bitch," Violet said grabbing my arm pulling me towards her sinking her fangs into my neck.
"Oww!" I screamed trying to push Violet away from me, this doesn't feel anything like when Jarmee bit me.
"Violet!" Zora said getting her off of me. This time I felt a little light head since Violet took more blood out of me than Jarmee did. Ascelin quickly came over to catch my weak body before settling on his lap.
"Just rest, darling," Ascelin said into my ear. I rested my head on his shoulder closing my eyes to stop the dizziness.
"Noelia Cynthia Merchant Rose Crescent, the daughther of Nicholas Lee Crescent and Natasha Rose Merchant-Crescent. She's the daughter's of one of the original vampires." Violet said, I slowly open my eyes to glance over at her.
"What is she talking about?" I mumbled.
"Great, her father was Nicholas Crescent himself," Jarmee said falling on the couch overwhelmed.
"The little vampire blood she has in her system is over cast by the human blood spell. The human blood is enlaced with an enchanted spell making her blood more pure and royal. Her mother didn't want her to be all the way mortal, so she made sure that her human blood was more enriched and pure than actually human blood that's why she smelled different than the other humans. We wasn't smelling the vampire blood, we were smelling the enhanced blood from her own mother." Violet said going to sit down.
"So you're saying, that since her mother was half witch, she used her blood to infuse with Noelia blood to make new human blood?" Zora asked.
"It's more complicated than that, but yeah. Ascelin has to drink enough of that human blood to kill her so the little vampire blood that is in her system to over ride it. But the danger to that is that if Ascelin bite her, her blood is to addicted for anyone to stop even when they want too."
"So, Ascelin has to kill her human side to turn her into a vampire, but if he's not careful and take to much blood, he can actually kill her kill her." Sydney said and Violet nod.
"Who says Ascelin has to do it?" Jarmee asked.
"Because he is also a child of an original vampire and he has the blood to save her." Zora said.
"Hmm," I mumbled taking it all in curling deeper into Ascelin taking it all in, "I just want my memories back."
"Maybe if she does get her memory back she can tells us who this Kol guy is." Zora said
"There has to be another way that is less dangerous!" Sydney said and that when the door open to the office as everyone turned to see Zero walking into the office.
"I might have an answer to that!" Zero said.
