Chapter 152: How Much Was Lies?

Hazel hadn't realized how badly her attempt at acting like everything was normal after her world came crashing down was going until Will called her out on it. Of course he would notice something like that.

Had he always watched her like a hawk and she simply didn't notice? Since coming back from Georgia she had paid extra close attention to the way he acted, searching for anything that might explain what kind of person he actually was.

She didn't find much. For the most part he was too happy to see her to do anything other than be overly affectionate like usual.

The questions Hazel had tried so hard to suppress kept popping up as they went about their days. How dangerous was he really? What else was he hiding from her? Why had he latched onto her of all people?

When Will suggested moving the trip they planned up she was immediately suspicious that there was some sort of ulterior motive behind it. For some reason, he wanted them out of the country.
