No, it was certainly not the case. He denied it as he tightened his grip around Lorelei. Why in the world would he even like someone as meddlesome and annoying as her? All she does is complain and get overly sensitive whenever he tries to speak his mind. Sure, Jace may not know his way around people, but he certainly knows that it is best to be straightforward, but this girl just doesn't get it.

To make matters worse, it's not just her annoying personality, but even her voice irks him, especially whenever she shrieks.
