Chapter 96: In Dominic's Eyes : Escape

Dominic's ears rang when Jake accidentally pulled the trigger when the three of them were wrestling to grab the gun from Connor's hand. The three of them looked with shocked faces as Aryen, with a bloody face, looked shocked to look at them. The child's face was pale, and his body immediately fell with a bloody wound on his head.

"CONNOR YOU BASTARD!"

Dominic was hit right in the face as Connor frantically shot Jake, who was trying to attack him. Amid the surprise attack, time seemed to go so slowly that Dominic accidentally saw Jake trying to talk to him in his last moments. Dominic's face looked shocked after he managed to interpret Jake's lip movements. Time seemed to go back to normal when his body was thrown quite far due to Connor's kick.
