C1 That Cliché Night
The Potters loved their two amazing baby boys. They may have been twins but they we're so different. Christopher Potter was born with messy red hair like a flame and dark brown eyes, he was loud and wanted all the attention on him. While Harrison Potter had deep jet-black hair like a starless night and bright Avada Kedavra green eyes that looked as though they saw your heart just by looking at you, he was quiet and liked to just explore the room with his eyes. The married couple loved the two equally. And loved them with all their hearts. Until the fateful day when everything went wrong.
While holding Harry his mother whispered, "I will always be there for you, I promise." Harry smiled and grabbed onto her pinky. She sat down and watched Chris play at her feet. Suddenly the wards went off.
"Lily take the kids and go!" James shouted.
"But James-" Lily started but was interrupted by James.
"Now! I won't be able to hold him back for long!" James yelled.
Lily ran up the stairs carrying the two boys trying to get to the emergency port key when Voldemort blew the door in. James tried to get out of the way, but the door slammed into him throwing him into a wall knocking him unconscious. He had promised Severus to spare the mudblood, Lily Evans. So, he just struck her with stupefy as she dropped to the ground in the nursery room. He walked over to the cribs. Chris was screaming and crying at the man, but Harry just looked at him with her big green eyes filled with curiosity.
He pointed his wand at Harry "Avada Kedavra" He yelled. His eyes widened when Harry sneezed, and the curse came right back at him. In his failed attempt to escape the curse he knocked over a shelf, the contents pouring over the boys. One of the toys made a cut on Chris's Cheek and he continued to scream and cry even louder.
Dumbledore came and helped James up as they then went to Lily's side. Dumbledore then walked over to the children noticing the bleeding cut on Chris's face and lifted him up "I declared Christopher Charles Potter the-boy-who-lived. He had banished the dark lord from this land and will defeat him."
"Can you believe our boy is the wizarding world's savior." Lily hugged her husband.
"He's going to need a lot of training and attention." Dumbledore said, handing Chris to her as Harry just watched, no one noticing he was even there.
