Chapter 9: Experimenting with Spells
After Casting the Transfiguration spell, Ivan left for Gryffindor Common Room leaving behind a dumbfounded Hermione, who couldn't comprehend what she just witnessed.
"did....did..he just cast the Transfiguration spell??"
she clearly saw Ivan Struggling to stabilize that very spell yesterday but now, he could cast it nonchalantly.
'How can a Person Improve so Fast?' she was left in a daze.
Ivan, holding his book, was walking on his way back to the dorms, and saw Harry and Ron Playing the Wizard Chess, both of them saw what Book Ivan was Carrying and they Froze.
"The Detailed Explanation of Magic Principles??" he exclaimed, Ron's eyes were about to pop out, and the Knight he was holding in his hand fell onto the Board Smashing the Armour of the Knight.
the knight holding a very thin sword comparable to a toothpick then bashed it on a Nail of Ron's Left Hand.
"OUCH!!!, it hurts!!," he shooked his left hand suddenly, throwing the Knight aside he then looked at his broken nail, he picked up the cup and smashed it onto the Knight who hurt him in fury. and threw the broken pieces in the box for repairs.
Then, clenching his finger he said with a worried expression on his face.
"Harry, do you think Ivan will become the same as Hermione in the future?"
"uh...um...this" Harry was a little doubtful.
The 2 people jolted at the thought of the two Hermiones pointing at them.
Ivan who came back to the Dorms didn't know what Ron and Harry were mumbling about him.
At this moment, Ivan's attention shifted to the changes in the values in his system.

Only an Hour of Study Experience Card and his Improvement was visible, he saw his Spells Section and noticed the difference in his Spells and some of them even levelled up.
just as the Students left, Ivan quickly casted the Levitation Spell and the Disarming Spell on the Pillows and stools to check his progress.
"Wingardium Leviosa ~"
"Expelliarmus ~"

After a few minutes of self-evaluating, Ivan looked at the pillow from above the bed that was thrown with force by the Disarming Spell and saw a couple of stools levitating in the air, with a puffed chest, he clamoured in accomplishment.
'This is the power of magic!'
For this unfathomable supernatural ability, No one can resist its temptation, not to mention, for Ivan who was lying on his bed in a hospital and liked to read all kinds of magical and fantasy Novels, a world full of magic and wonders he could not imagine and was only a fiction.
It is a pity that Ivan had barely managed to get through this, he couldn't even perform the most basic spells and charms. but Now, Ivan was Excited.
No matter what object I saw, I will throw them in the air with my profound Levitation Spell...
After Experimenting nonstop for 10 minutes, he was severely weakened barely able to stand and had a dizzy expression. of course, this was a Sign of Magic Overuse.
In this process, Ivan also saw the limits of his current self

I just don't know if this Transfiguration Spell can be used on wizards. For example, when fighting an enemy, a Transfiguration Spell could be used to turn the Enemy or Opponent into 'a Tree...a Brick...or a Mug perhaps?'
Or it can turn the cloaks of the hostile wizard into fierce beasts and traps, which can also come into play while clashing.
Soon Ivan Frowned because he realized that in the original novel, it seemed that a few People used this method, even Professor McGonagall who is proficient in Transfiguration Spell, didn't use this Spell in such a manner.
Is it because ordinary Transfiguration Spell cannot be used on lifeforms? But Transfiguration Spell is Powerful enough to turn a non-living object into a living, then is there no reason to reverse this spell? Hagrid also used this spell to make the fat Dudley grow a tail. Malfoy too had a bit of dark history of being transformed into a Ferret. indicating that the Transfiguration Spell can also directly affect the human body.
Is this magic power? do Wizards have some resistance to Transfiguration Spell?
What is this magic power? what an incredible thing….
Ivan could think of only 'Animagus Transformation' that can affect a powerful Witch or Wizard. and can only transform them into a specific animal not like what one casting would like to.
This is more like a solidified Transfiguration Spell, which allows the wizard to switch back and forth between the two forms, with no weak spot and no time limit.
"Forget it, why do I even need that for now?" Ivan stroked his forehead. he's just a 1st Year Student who barely started going to Hogwarts, heck it's been only a few days since he Transmigrated.
There's no meaning in pondering over it.
After experimenting with the Levitation spell, Transfiguration Spell, Bright spell, and Disarming spell, Ivan knew what his current strength was.
It was near the level of ordinary First-Year young wizards.
After experimenting with the effects of ordinary magic spells, Ivan turned his attention to the fear spell as dark magic.
This curse that appeared in the system when he crossed over, Ivan had never used it before.

Ivan recalled the order in which the magic was released in his memory, waving his wand and hitting Marx's head.
"Gu gu ~" A dim purple light flashed, Marx tilted his head and looked at Ivan innocently.
"It not working?" Ivan looked at not at all Marx with any reaction, which was a little strange.
"timemus nos ~ timemus nos..."
Ivan used spells one after another, and the purple rays of light enveloped Marx directly, but Marx thought Ivan was playing with it, so he grabbed the wand's tip with a hook-shaped beak and pulled it up.
Ivan helplessly took the wand back, otherwise, it would have been munched by Marx, and then looked at the fear magic in the system Spells column.

"Fear ..." Ivan closed his eyes for a moment, then opened his eyes just to see the grey-black rat snoozing on Ron's table, thinking a little, Ivan let go of Marx the Owl and turned to hold the wand and started walking towards a sleeping Rat.
Scabbers was sleeping soundly, and there were pieces of multi-flavoured beans in the corners of his mouth. The small claws were divided into 4 fingers. Occasionally unconsciously scratching on the table, seems our scabbers was having a good Dream.
