Chapter 131: Chapter 131: Explaining Thoughts and Feasible Solutions

The atmosphere in the dormitory was somewhat heavy.

Ino regretted starting this study group. It was supposed to be a simple review session, but it always ended up feeling like a secret gathering, and they would often hear some terrifying viewpoints.

At the same time, he was also relieved that they were reviewing in the dormitory, with no portraits on the walls. If they were somewhere else, even in the Room of Requirement, Dumbledore might show up the next day to personally investigate.

But now wasn't the time to dwell on this, because Pansy was starting to go off track.

And he had to take responsibility for that.

Looking at the somewhat agitated Pansy, he decided to deliver a strong dose of reality.

"Honestly, your idea is very reasonable! But you're ignoring an important factor."

As Ino spoke, he extended his hand, signaling Pansy to sit down and not remain in a state of excitement.

"Do you remember the goblin rebellions? Why did the goblins ultimately compromise? It's simple—because their overall strength was inferior to that of wizards! Although they had the upper hand initially, the intelligent goblins realized they could not succeed!"

"Goblins have intelligence, but do wizards lack it? Why do we retreat, why do we compromise? Because we cannot oppose the entire Muggle world. During the medieval witch hunts, Muggle children who showed signs of magic were sent to the gallows by their own parents..."

Ino planned to use the witch hunts to enlighten Pansy with facts.

The four founders established Hogwarts because, without the Book of Admittance and the Quill of Acceptance, the fate of Muggle-born wizards was to be handed over by their families for a few bloody coins.

Without new blood, relying on the pure-blood wizards in the British Isles to reproduce was like a drop in the ocean.

As Ino narrated, analyzing point by point, Pansy gradually calmed down.

"Ino, thank you! I think I understand now. There's no point in doing anything when the balance of power is unequal!"

Pansy sighed softly, seemingly understanding the core issue. But her next words drove Ino a bit crazy.

"But for next year's electives, I plan to take Muggle Studies. Can you help me review then?"

Seeing Pansy's determined look, Ino felt helpless but had no choice. Given how things had developed, he couldn't shirk his responsibility.

"Alright, we can review together next year, but just the few of us, no more large groups."

"It's settled then!" Pansy smiled, a smile that was unexpectedly warm and bright.

"Bang!" The dormitory door closed with a thud.

The room fell completely silent, and Ino lay on his bed, enjoying a rare moment of relaxation.

This quiet lasted for quite a while.

"Pansy's a bit silly!" Draco, who had been silent, suddenly made an offhand comment.

"Do you have another shocking idea?" Lying on the bed, Ino instinctively frowned.

If there was another incident, he swore he'd join Hufflepuff, live with the badgers, eat, sleep, and garden every day—a much more peaceful life.

"I have no ideas! But I know that everything requires matching strength. Like when we used to encounter Scarhead and the Weasley, I could only argue with them. But since I hung them up in the dueling arena last time, they now avoid me."

Draco's tone was calm, as if he were discussing the weather, casual and natural.

Hearing Draco's account, Ino couldn't help but sigh in relief. He was starting to feel a bit wary of the Slytherins.

"No ideas is best! Study well, take your exams, and don't disappoint Uncle Lucius."

"I will study hard!" Draco agreed emphatically, then shifted the topic with some anticipation:

"Ino, can you teach me a few more spells?"
