"Alright, I hope you can give me a satisfactory answer." Kakarov stood up, patting his sleeves as he cast a cleansing spell to get rid of the grease and dust. He complained, "If this tavern was in Durmstrand, I wouldn't even need to use my wand. I'd just punch them in the face. The environment here is too bad."

"Then you might not be able to beat him," Dumbledore remarked, his long white beard trembling as he spoke with a somewhat complicated tone.

"What do you mean?" Kakarov asked, suspecting he had misheard.

"Nothing, let's go," Dumbledore said, changing the topic as he led the two of them out of the noisy Tavern and toward their destination.

Once they arrived at Dumbledore's office, Kakarov stood in front of the desk and stared at him with an unfriendly expression. "So, you want me to overturn the case for this half-giant named Hagrid?" he asked.

Dumbledore raised his hand to speak, but Kakarov interrupted him. "Let me tell you, I have no interest in your bullshit matters. You alone are enough to uphold justice. Besides, he's just a half-giant..." Kakarov's tone became even more impolite as he felt offended. But as he spoke, he realized he had misspoken again, remembering that Madam Maxim was also a half-giant. It was too late to take back his words.

Kakarov could see that Madam Maxim's face immediately darkened. She wasn't a fool and could guess what he had almost said. It wouldn't have made a difference if he had said it or not.

"The old fox set a trap for me again," Kakarov cursed to himself and prepared to change his attitude. He knew he had to accept the situation.

Just a few hours ago, the three of them had gone directly to Dumbledore's office through the air network (a privilege of Dumbledore's). Dumbledore hadn't wasted time and had gone straight to the point, telling Kakarov his idea.

The gist of it was this: "I'm an outsider to Dark Arts. Although I just don't feel like researching it, I have a favor to ask of you."

Now that the publicly acknowledged number one Magus had a favor to ask of him, Kakarov was naturally very pleased. Furthermore, the energy waves emitted by the diary, even after being damaged, were still abnormally strong. He suspected it was the work of a dark Magus and thought he might even benefit from it.

Durmstrom's teachings included Dark Arts, and Kakarov had even been a Death Eater before, so he didn't feel any pressure at all.

The sun outside the window slowly sank below the horizon as a few hours passed. Despite using all his knowledge, Kakarov was only able to restore a few scenes from the diary and transfer them into Dumbledore's meditation basin. "Fifty years ago is the same as..." Kakarov seemed to have thought of something, but the rest of his words got stuck in his throat. His expression suddenly stiffened, and his eyes filled with disbelief. "Impossible, he must be dead!" Kakarov didn't want to believe it, nor did he dare to believe that the person was still alive.

Kakarov muttered to himself, "This is just a magic item he made. He's been gone for so long. He won't come back. He won't come back." For a moment, Kakarov seemed possessed as he repeatedly muttered those words.

"Calm down, Kakarov," Dumbledore said in a kind voice, his sharp blue eyes seeming to have a calming effect on Kakarov. Without actively using it, Dumbledore's ability to extract minds affected Kakarov imperceptibly.

"Last year, he personally snuck into Hogwarts to steal the Philosopher's Stone in order to revive his body. He also killed a unicorn to extend his life," Dumbledore said, pressing on step by step and not giving Kakarov time to think. "This year, I also tried to track him down. I walked through half of the Albanian forest, but found nothing."

"I think you should be more afraid of his return than I am," Dumbledore continued, wanting to leave a deep impression on Kakarov as he broke down. "That's why I need your help."

Traitors rarely had a good ending. If other Death Eaters in Azkaban or on the run could rely on Voldemort's wings after his return, then Lucius Draco, who was not identified with Voldemort's position, would have a hard time in Voldemort's team.

Fortunately, Draco had already left a good impression on Kakarov during their first meeting. As for Kakarov, who couldn't be washed clean in Voldemort's camp, a green light might be the best ending for him. After all, there were many torturous Dark Arts spells.

"It's not that urgent," Madam Maxim said, her face a little awkward.
