Chapter 48: Suspicious & Unidentified

Scott walked out of the fancy side room, pulling his sleek black blazer over his shoulders and straightening it. He took a moment to adjust the cuffs of his shirt, making sure everything looked just right.

[Blueprints for the ATAM-5 suit are complete. Construction has commenced at the System Factory. Automated Stealth Vehicle is fully weaponized and will be deployed to Gwen's location in five minutes.]

The corner of his lips tugged up briefly as he slotted his hands into his pockets.

"Finally making progress…"

He started walking down the hallway.

[Turn left.]

Scott stopped mid-step as his eyebrows knitted together.

"Huh?"

But the System didn't respond.

He looked around, shrugged, and turned left as instructed.
