Chapter 58: Let’s Wash Up!

Scott and Emma stepped out of the taxi.

They were now in a luxurious, spacious estate.

A massive modern home stood just in front of them.

Scott let out a low whistle as they walked up the polished stone path.

He'd been to this house before—it was the starting point for their trip to Falan City.

Back then, though, he hadn't really paid attention to it.

His mind had been consumed with worry for Gwen and figuring out a plan to save her while dealing with the assassins on his trail.

This time, though, things were different. He wasn't here for danger or strategy… he was here for something much better.

"I should've said this before, but… nice place…"

He adjusted the collar of his jacket as the gates slid shut behind them.

Emma forced a puppy dog smile. "Awwn, b~aaabe ♡!"

"Psssh, so cheesy…" Scott snickered softly.

"Tch, dick…"

She gave him a small punch across his shoulder.
