"Sit down, Ego. We need to discuss something important," his stepmom gestured towards the plush armchair opposite her. Her eyes held a glint of seriousness, a departure from the usually carefree demeanor she wore around the mansion.

Reluctantly, Ego took a seat, feeling the softness of the chair enveloping him, a stark contrast to the hard wooden benches he was accustomed to at the academy. He couldn't shake off the feeling that this whole setup was some sort of trap.
