Chapter 53: Chapter 53: Quratar Labyrinth-1

When I woke up, I had my face buried in softness. I had expected to wake up with both girls hugging me, but instead, it was me who was hugging Roxanne like a pillow.

I moved my face, enjoying the soft kingdom. But the softness disappears suddenly and I am attacked with a kiss.

"Good Morning Master" Roxanne said, removing her lips from mine.

"Good Morning Roxanne"

"Ah, Good Morning" I heard Sherry's voice from behind me.

I released my arms from Roxanne's body and turned around.

"Good Morning Sherry … I have to say that is an incredible bead head" I said looking at Sherry's messy hair.

"Sorry, it's because my hair became lighter" Sherry replied while trying to straighten her hair.

I moved closer to her face. Getting my hint, Sherry initiates a kiss. Her small mouth is lovely, and her clumsy kissing is adorable. Still she is making a full effort.

"Let's get ready to enter the labyrinth" I said, removing my lips from her.

Both Roxanne and Sherry helped me put on my clothes, although all Sherry did was handing my clothes to Roxanne.

I had my own fun dressing both of them up. Roxanne looked incredibly hot in her new black underwear, while Sherry seemed shy when I helped her put on her own underwear.

We were all wearing our new clothes that we bought yesterday, and I made it clear to both of them that we should use the new clothes and not just keep wearing the old ones.

While they went to freshen up, I checked my Level up system and found out that I had received two rewards.

<Alchemist: Level 20 reward

Accept: Yes No >

Even though yesterday's labyrinth visit was quite short, I was leveling up at 800x exp rate so many of my Jobs leveled up. I mentally click yes to accept the reward.

<Basic Alchemist Pack #5 acquired:

-Mystical Shard (inferior)>

I had a feeling that it would be the same red stone. I silently put the stone inside the backpack and move on to the next one.

<Sex Maniac: Level 1 reward

Accept: Yes No >

I feel weird everytime I see the name of this Job. It was as if someone was labeling me as a pervert. Although it has a pretty useless skill, the Job effect itself is something that I appreciate. Besides, it is my racial Job, so the rewards should be good. I mentally click accept.

<Basic Sex Maniac acquired:

-Seductive Touch>

A skill? Nice. I mentally click on it.

[Seductive Touch: The User can cause Sexual Arousal through touch.]

This is something I will definitely test out tonight.

After we freshen up, I handed their Equipments to the girls, and we all got ready. Since Sherry had already acquired the Master Smith Job, I asked her if she wanted to use a Spear instead of a Hammer.

After thinking for a while, Sherry chose a Spear. Personally I thought she suited the middle position better than the front, so I was happy with her choice.

I informed them of my plan to check out the Quratar's Labyrinth today. I gave the map book to Sherry, so she could check and tell us the shortest way to the next floor while we are inside the labyrinth.

Casting Warp, we entered the First floor of Quratar's Labyrinth.

Even though it was early in the morning, we spotted someone in the room right away. But I wasn't that worried as we could use Dungeon Walk in the entrance room, so no one would be suspicious. Besides there is no way I will stand in line and pay the entrance fee daily to enter the labyrinth.

Sherry opened the book and looked at the first page. The 'map' wasn't even the complete map of the whole floor, it was just showing the path to the second floor.

"Straight ahead" Sherry said and kept the book back inside her Backpack. I wouldn't be surprised if she had already memorized the entire map.

We proceeded into the central path. The party which entered before us were also following the same path while checking their map.

"There are quite a lot of people here," I said, noticing another party behind us.

"Since this is the first floor, there are parties entering all the time" Roxanne explained.

"Quratar is filled with people who earn money from spending long hours in the Labyrinth" added Sherry.

We kept walking and in the end we reached the Boss's room. We had to walk almost three times more than we did in the Vale's labyrinth, which shows how massive Quratar's Labyrinth really is.

Even though we saw plenty of people along the way, we did not encounter any demons.

There were several parties in the waiting room outside the boss's room so we had to wait a while before our turn came up. The parties waiting had very low levels, around Level 3-4.

I adjusted my BP from exp gain to Crystallization Upgrade x64 for the Boss fight.

Finally, our turn arrived and we entered the Boss room through the door. With a puff of smoke a dark green midget materialized before us.

[Kobold Kampfer Level 1]

Kobold is the monster on the first floor of Quratar's Labyrinth. It had big eyes, pointed ears and protruding fangs. Its face was huge, half of its body was just its face. But it was too small, it couldn't even reach Sherry's chest.

It had a big knife in his right hand. It looked weird and comical holding a knife which was almost as big as him.

Roxanne rushed up to it and thrusted her rapier in its big eyes. Taking advantage of its momentary stumble, I closed in and decapitated it with a single sword slash. It collapsed, dissolving into a puff of smoke.

"So weak" I sighed disappointedly.

"It's just a Kobold afterall" Roxanne responded matter-of-factly.

"It is the weakest Boss among the first eleven floors of the labyrinth" Sherry explained.

I inspected the boss's drop.

[Kobold Flour]

It was a powdery substance which looked exactly like wheat flour. A thin film seems to be holding the flour inside.

"It is said to be more delicious than ordinary wheat flour" Roxanne commented, as I stored it in the backpack.

Moving forward, we proceeded to the next floor through the black door. Sherry checks the map for the second floor while I readjust my BP.

My Explorer and Wizard Leveled up once, while Monk and Alchemist leveled up twice.

Following Sherry's directions we ventured into the second floor.

"There doesn't seem to be anyone here" I said, noting the lack of people in contrast to the bustling first floor.

"Half of the second floor's enemies are Kobolds, killing them only gives trash drops" Roxanne explained.

"The first floor is mainly populated by beginners and those hesitant to proceed further. We will encounter more people on the third floor as the Kobolds will decrease on the next floor" Sherry added.

The Kobold hate is strong within everyone.

As we move through the path, Roxanne alerts us of oncoming demons. After walking for a bit we encounter 2 demons.

[Kobold Level 2]

[Naive Olive Level 2]

On the right was a Kobold who looked similar to the Boss we just saw but with a lighter green complexion. It held a pocket knife instead of the oversized knife the Boss had wielded.

On the left was a demon resembling a plant, or more specifically, an olive tree. I rushed towards the Naive Olive while Roxanne and Sherry went towards the Kobold.

The Naive Olive lived up to its name, as it remained oblivious to my presence even when I stood directly in front of it. I slashed through its body, causing it to dissolve in smoke, and went on to dispatch the Kobold with a single slash.

Honestly, this feels like child's play in comparison to the Vale Labyrinth. This might be the reason why so many beginners come to this place. I checked out the drops.

[Kobold Salt]

[Olive Oil]

The salt was like a powder substance while the oil looked like a big yellow drop, both of them were encased in a thin film. Strangely every drop here seems to be food related.

"You can use it for frying food" Roxanne said as I carefully picked up the oil drop.

"Kobold Salt is the same as normal salt and it also has the lowest sales price in the Adventurer's Guild of only 4 nars." Sherry said, handing me the Kobold salt.

I stored them inside the Backpack and followed the map's path. We encounter two more Kobolds, which we dispatch swiftly.

[Kobold Knife]

[Kobold Knife]

They dropped two jackknives.

"So, they drop the Knives that they use" I said, picking up the small folding knife.

"Even though it is a single handed equipment, it's still a trash drop" Roxanne scoffed as she picked up another one.

"This is the only Equipment that you can sell at an Adventurer's Guild. The Guild collects them all, melts them down and makes Copper coins out of them" Sherry shared with us her knowledge.

The Copper coins were the only coins which cannot be put inside the Item Box. It must be because they aren't a drop themselves but something which is made from melting a drop.

But the Kobold Knife was silver coloured not brown, maybe it contains copper. I remember that the chance of a Kobold Knife dropping was one in three.

Still Kobolds are slow, weak and give out useless drops, I get why they are so despised.

We move on and after killing some more demons we are in front of the Boss room. I adjust my BP so that Crystal Upgrade x64 is active. As there was no other party here, we directly entered the Boss room.

In a puff of smoke the Boss materialized before us.

[Palm Baum Level 2]

It looked exactly like the Naive Olive, it was just slightly thicker and larger.

Roxanne confronted it from the front while Sherry and I circled around to its back. After two of my strikes it went down in a puff of smoke.

The fight was even easier than the Udon Wood Boss.

[Palm Oil]

The Boss's drop had a darker color than Olive Oil. According to Roxanne this is a very good oil. I keep it in my Backpack and we move on to the next floor.

CREATORS' THOUGHTS
Avi2112 Avi2112

I wanted to finish this Labyrinth run in this chapter but it got too big so I will add it in the next one.

The Kobolds in the OG story look more like Goblins. I think either the OG author was confused between both of them or he just hated goblins and thats why didn't add them in the story.
