Chapter 46: Chapter 46: Location Swap

I feel relieved looking at both of them getting along.

After that we started discussing which shops we should visit today.

"For tonight's Dinner can you make something for us, Sherry?"

"Yes, certainly"

"As we now have an extra person we should also buy more groceries. You both can go and check if we need to buy anything else. Maybe we can buy some extra food to keep a stock at home for emergencies?"

"Okay, Master. Come Sherry let me show you where the storage room is."

They both leave the room. Now alone I check my Jobs and the levels I gained.

[Job Setting

Acquired Job: Villager Level 25, Thief Level 20, Hero Level 15, Farmer Level 1, Explorer Level 21, Swordsman Level 1, Warrior Level 21, Merchant Level 1, Wizard Level 20, Herbalist Level 1, Monk Level 16, Alchemist Level 18

Set Job: Explorer Level 21, Hero Level 15, Wizard Level 20, Warrior Level 21, Alchemist Level 18, Villager Level 25]

Wow! 400x on Level 2 demons had my leveling speed skyrocket.

But I think it's because they are early levels of some Basic and Intermediate Jobs. Higher levels won't be so easily achieved and Advanced Jobs would be a pain to level up even with 400x.

Villager went from Level 5 to Level 25. Alchemist went from Level 1 to Level 18. Warrior went from Level 3 to Level 21. Wizard went from Level 13 to Level 20. Explorer went from Level 14 to Level 21 and lastly Hero went from Level 10 to Level 15.

I opened the Level up system. Mentally clicking the System box, I am immediately bombarded by multiple text boxes. I feel a rush looking at this many rewards.

Just like last time I went from worst Jobs to the Best. So the first is Villager.

<Villager: Level 10 reward

Accept: Yes No >

The first reward of Villager was very helpful as it helped me in speaking, understanding and reading the local language here. The second reward was also decent. But still it can't change the fact that Villager is the lowest Job so even if the reward is Level 10, it might turn out to be lackluster.

<Intermediate Language Pack acquired>

Suddenly I feel like something clicked in my head. It felt like I remembered something I had long forgotten before. Reviewing it I came to realize that unknowingly I have learnt the local language.

Until now when I heard local people talk, it got translated to english automatically in my head. Even when I read the unfamiliar words written in the local language, in my head an inbuilt google translate would run and I would understand and read that sentence in English. But now I have really learnt the local language, so now I would be able to write in it too.

Well that was certainly helpful I guess, on to the next one.

<Villager: Level 15 reward

Accept: Yes No >

I simply select Yes mentally.

<Basic Villager Pack #4 acquired:

-Constitution Upgrade (slight)>

A tingle ran through my body. And it went away as soon as it came. I have received the same reward twice before. At first I thought it just improved my height but now I think it is improving me overall, as my little bro's size has also increased a little from the previous upgrades.

Well I am grateful for the increase in everything. Now onto the next one.

<Villager: Level 20 reward

Accept: Yes No >

It's level 20 but for Villager. I mentally clicked yes.

<Advanced Language Pack acquired>

With a familiar click in my brain, I remembered things which I forgot before. Searching through my memories I realize that it is really the Advanced Language Pack. I have learnt Brahim, the God's language.

Until now Brahim sounded like Japanese to me, even while speaking I was speaking in Japanese but other people perceived it as Brahim. But now I can tell that there are similarities in both languages but they are still very distinct to each other.

Brahim should help me in Magic chants and Skill chants in the future, so it is also a useful reward I guess. Moving on.

<Villager: Level 25 reward

Accept: Yes No >

This is the highest level reward that I am accepting until now. I mentally click yes.

<Basic Villager Pack #6 acquired:

-Constitution Upgrade (small)>

A tingle went through my body and this time I felt it linger for a while before going away. I stretch my hands and feel that my loose jacket has gotten tight, even my pants are shorter for me, as they just reach my ankles now.

My height has definitely increased now. So this one was a 'small' upgrade. Would a 'Large' upgrade make me a Titan then? That's scary!

Shaking these unrealistic thoughts out, I shift my gaze towards the next Job.

<Warrior: Level 5 reward

Accept: Yes No >

The First Warrior reward was very helpful to me. It basically gave me some insights into how to fight, which was very helpful to a person like me who has never fought before. Hoping for the best I mentally click yes.

<Basic Warrior Pack #2 acquired

-Increase strength(slight)>

A tingle ran through my body for a second and it was gone. I clench my fists but unlike the monk reward, I don't feel my strength increase. Maybe it improved my strength overall, not just my hands. I will find out in the labyrinth later. I moved on to the next one.

<Warrior: Level 10 reward

Accept: Yes No >

Even though Warrior is a Basic Job, a level 10 reward should be good. I mentally click Yes.

<Basic Warrior Pack #3 acquired>

With a click in my brain, I remember memories long forgotten. I calmly go through the memories and realize that these are memories of using weapons, swords, spears, hammers, bows, knives, glaves.

The memories of each weapon were very few, just how to hold the weapon better and the stance to take. Not much but still incredibly helpful. Feeling happy I move on to the next reward.

<Warrior: Level 15 reward

Accept: Yes No >

Not expecting much I click Yes.

<Basic Warrior Pack #4 acquired

-Increase strength (slight)>

A tingle ran through my body quickly. I was feeling a bit of deja vu. I just got this reward, but whatever, an increase in strength even if slight is appreciated.

<Warrior: Level 20 reward

Accept: Yes No >

The last reward for Warrior Job. It's a level 20 reward so maybe it's good. I mentally click yes.

<Basic Warrior Pack #5 acquired

-Initial Movement Sense(Passive)>

Huh? A Skill? I mentally click on it for its description.

[Initial Movement Sense(Passive): The user can sense and gain information from initial movements of people or objects.]

Hmm, I think this might be very useful in Battles. Well the Warrior rewards weren't bad I guess. Now onto the next Job.

<Alchemist: Level 5 reward

Accept: Yes No >

The last reward was the red shard which made the Plating skill OP. Maybe I will get the shard again? I mentally click Yes.

<Basic Alchemist Pack #2 acquired:

-Mystical Shard (inferior)>

A familiar red finger sized stone appeared in my hand.

[Mystical Shard (inferior)]

Yep the same stone as last time. But something feels different this time. Even if I concentrate and focus on it, the shard is unresponsive, it's like there is nothing which can activate it.

Hmm, I had a doubt that as this reward is from the Alchemist Pack, it would only apply to the Alchemist skills. And now that my Alchemist Skill is already upgraded, this shard isn't able to upgrade it anymore?

So is this useless for me? A Higher quality of this stone might upgrade the skill though. As I couldn't do anything with the stone I moved on to the next reward.

<Alchemist: Level 10 reward

Accept: Yes No >

A level 10 reward should be very good right? I mentally click yes.

<Basic Alchemist Pack #3 acquired:

-Mystical Shard (inferior)>

Huh? A small red stone appeared in my hand. Now I have two stones in my hand, even my Appraisal is showing that they are both the same. Having a bad feeling I opened the next reward.

<Alchemist: Level 15 reward

Accept: Yes No >

<Basic Alchemist Pack #4 acquired:

-Mystical Shard (inferior)>

What the fuck! I have 3 finger sized red stones in my hand now. And none of them are reacting. I again use Appraisal and it shows the same name for the three of them.

Maybe if I collect Seven of them, I can summon Shenron?

I chuckle at my joke, but realistically they shouldn't be useless. Maybe the future rewards may show its usage. I put them into the Backpack for now. And move onto more exciting rewards.

<Explorer: Level 15 reward

Accept: Yes No >

Explorer Rewards have never ever disappointed me. So even though it's just a Level 15 reward, I have full faith that it would be a good one.

<Basic Explorer Pack #4 acquired:

-Explorer's Backpack>

A Brown leather Backpack appears in my hand. I got another one?

[Explorer's Backpack

-10 cubic meter storage space]

Wow! An additional zero! Now that I compare both the Backpacks, this one seems one size bigger than the older one. Still 10 cubic meters is a lot, the old backpack's space was getting too small already. I was thinking about shifting the demon drops to my Item box or just selling them, but with this additional space I can keep hoarding.

I keep the Backpack on the side and move on to the last Explorer reward.

<Explorer: Level 20 reward

Accept: Yes No >

The Last reward was great and this is a Level 20 one so it should also be very good. I mentally click yes.

<Basic Explorer Pack #6 acquired:

-Location Swap>

Woah! A skill, I mentally click it for its description.

[Location Swap: The User can switch positions with a party member. Cool down time: 1 minute]

Hmm, but what about its range? I still haven't tested Telepathic Party Link's range yet. I will have to test both of these out later then. Still it's a very good skill especially to save someone. Onto the next Job.

<Wizard: Level 15 reward

Accept: Yes No >

I have a feeling that it will be another Magic Gem for my Magic Bracelet. I mentally click Yes.

<Basic Wizard Pack #4 acquired:

-Magic Gem(100%)>

A familiar Blue Gem appeared in my hand. Well it's the same as my Level 5 reward, I put the Magic Gem on the left side of the other 2 Blue gems. I guess I could grind for a long time now without a break as I have 3 Magic Batteries with me.

<Wizard: Level 20 reward

Accept: Yes No >

Again I think I know what this reward would be. I mentally click yes.

<Basic Wizard Pack #5 acquired:

-Magic Gem(0/10)>

A familiar White Gem appeared in my hand. I guessed right again. Even though I know that these rewards are very good, but without the surprise factor it just feels a bit bland. I guess I am addicted to Gacha.

Adding this Gem I can fire 21 spells simultaneously! I am like a walking turret. And at higher levels my single spell would be devastating enough and with 21 more of them fired at once, I will become a nuclear deterrent.

I keep the Gem aside for now, I will fill it up later. I shifted my gaze to the last reward.

<Hero: Level 15 reward

Accept: Yes No >

In retrospect Hero rewards are the one which had helped me the most. This luxury, this house, it wouldn't be achieved this easily without it. I mentally click yes.

<Basic Hero Pack #4 acquired:

-Charm Increase

-Gold coin x 50>

There was a coin pouch in my hand and simultaneously I felt tingles all over my body. Seeing the familiar reward and the bag of Gold coins, I just sigh. Well I guess this reward money is for today's shopping spree.

I put the money bag in the backpack. Just then Sherry and Roxanne entered the Dining hall.

"Eh? … Master how??"

"Master got taller again"
