Su Yuchen looked at sleeping Xin Mei with a small smile dancing on his lips. He thanked God for a numerous of time for not snatching Xin Mei from him and for returning his Mian to him.

He looked at Xin Mei with love stuck eyes and a tear fell from them. Looking at her, he remembered the first time when he had seen her in the clinic of his psychologist and then at the resort of city B.

He had felt a connection to her, an urge to hug her and to protect her from everything. He had seen his Mian in her, and look at how his each hunch had come true. She was his Mian. His best friend Mian.

He felt thankful that he did not know that Xin Mei was Mian. He did not love her knowing she was Mian. Instead, he loved Xin Mei as Xin Mei. He loved her new personality.

He fell in love with her from his heart. He was not forced to love her because of their childhood memories. He loved her because of the connection which their hearts had formed with one another.
