Chapter 8: My Other Half
Akimitsu moved to the middle.
Feeling uncomfortable,he knew he didn't have a single idea on how to escape.
Worst thing was he didn't know if even a single one of them had any powers like Sora.
He only had his gun to wound them.
''I'm ready Sora!!"
He shouted to Sora to tell him he was ready.
''Well,let me see who are you gonna fight?"
He then started to look at the three men.
"How bout you fight,Shu?"he suggested.
"Fine by me"he replied.
He moved to the middle.
''What's he gonna use?"
"It seems he's gonna use that sword".
The person on the right had a spear and the left one,Shu,had a sword.
"If they are only gonna use weapons,they might be easy to take out"he smiled to himself.
Meanwhile Ahihito was looking at Akimitsu intently.
"Something just doesn't seem right"he thought to himself.
"Who the hell uses swords these days?"he thought"and why are they si fuckin calm right now?".
"Begin!!".
He heard Sora's shout in the background.
As soon as Sora shouted,Akimitsu took out his gun and started running towards his left side.
"I have two choices"
"Either activate the power or kill them on my own"the first one was probably hard but he had no choice.
Assuming the fact they had something else up their sleeve,he would need to activate that power of his.
"Desperate for death,aren't we?"
The Shu brother shouted and started to run towards him.
"Idiot,you let your guard down"he was just waiting for the opening.
There was gunshot and Shu was down on the ground with his leg bleeding.
Just then he noticed the other Yuan running towards him
He jumped two steps back.
"Haven't you had enough already Shu?Just stand up"the other Yuan looked at Shu.
"He's shot in the leg.He can't-"what Akimitsu then saw was surprised.
The wound on Shu's leg had just healed.
"Sorry Shao,it was a little hard to get the bullet out"he said as if he was annoyed.
"Iam seriously angry,Shao"he gave a deadly stare to Akimitsu.
"Do you want to use that technique Shu?"Shao asked him.
"Shao,he sure hit me really bad.He's gonna pay for it".
Shao took out his spear while Shu picked his bloodstained sword from the ground.
"Get ready Shu"
"Yuan 1000 slashes!!!"
At same time both of them came at Akimitsu with superspeed and he felt every part of his body being slashed by thousands of swords.
Not until five seconds,he started spitting blood.
His gun dropped from his hand.He couldn't even move a finger.
Eventually his vision started getting blurry.
The last thing he saw was his own blood.
"Akimitsu!!Akimitsu!!!!"he could hear Ahihito shouting in the background.
"He's a goner"the one who was holding the barrier told Sora.
"No doubt",said Sora sadly.
"What a waste.I thought he had some potential"he said in a disappointed tone.
Akimitsu finally fell to the floor when the two brothers stopped.
"Shu,is he dead?"Shao asked him.
"He is barely breathing"
Akimitsu's subconsciousness:
Akimitsu stood up.
Somehow,he felt different.
His body didn't have any wound and he was inside some new place.
His surrounding were different.
Everything around him was purple everywhere ...?
"Am I dead?",he asked himself.
"Not yet but if you don't do anything you'd definitely be dead".
He had heard this voice.
It was the same voice he had heard before.
He turned around to see the person who spoke.
He looked like a human but....
Completely white haired,his face and skin was also white,his one eye was shing light purple and the other was red.
His voice was the same as before.
It was inhumane.
"Surprised to see me A_ki_mitsu",he emphasized on 'Akimitsu'.
"How do you know my name?",asked Akimitsu.
He was terrified.Where the hell was he?
"How do I know your name?I know your entire life story.I am a part of you and you are a part of me".
Is that enough,boy?"he asked with a bored tone.
Akimitsu couldn't answer.
He was shuddering and he felt like he was going to have a heart attack.
"Hope you didn't piss your pants"then he started laughing like a maniac.
"Jeez,you're no fun"he again gave him that boring look.
"But don't worry,once you start being influenced by my personality you won't be so boring".
Akimitsu couldn't understand anything.
Hagetaka then appeared to look serious.
Akimitsu wanted to question him but was terrified to do so.
"Now let's get serious".
"Regarding the power Sora told you,you don't have any right?"he asked him.
"How do you know about it?Who are you in first place?".
Wad he dreaming?Was this even real?
"Now my dear Akimitsu,I know your scared shitless but right now your'e on the verge of death outside.Do you wanna die?"he asked.
"No,I don't but there's no chance I can win against them.They're too strong",Akimitsu replied.
"I don't have any powers"it almost hurt to say that.
He was useless right now.
"But then you have me.But your'e not gonna let me fight that easily,are you?"
"What do you mean?"asked Akimitsu.
"Gimme your body and I'll beat their asses up",the white haired man said pouting.
"You mean you have powers?".
Akimitsu couldn't beleive it.
If this was real,he could use his powers.
"You mean you can defeat them?"Akimitsu asked hopefully.
"Yep,that won't even be an issue since Iam a devil"he said as if he was confident.
"Over confident"Akimitsu said to him.
"Give me your body and I'll show you how confident Iam".
"No way"
"You won't give me back my body.No way in hell"shouted Akimitsu
He wasn't gonna give his body to him,and not to a devil specifically.
He took Akimitsu by the collar.
"Hey brat,say anything you want but this body isn't completely yours".
"None of us could fit into a whole body of our own so we were put in one body."
What the hell was he saying?They couldn't survive without each other?
Wait a min..
Where was this conversation headed?
"Sorry bro,Iam not gay"Akimitsu told him.
He then dropped Akimitsu.
Akimitsu then started to laugh to himself.
"Huh?What the hell are u talkin bout?"that boy gave him a confused expression.
"Relax,it was a joke"he told him while laughing.
He then hit his forehead with hand.
"Damn it!"he then shouted to himself.
"What?What happened?"Akimitsu asked him.
"It must be soul interference"he told Akimitsu.
"Soul interference?"Akimitsu asked him.
"When did we start meeting each other?"he asked Akimitsu.
"One or two days maybe"Akimitsu told him.
"Think about it.When did you use to crack jokes.Never!".
He then thougjt about it.When did he start cracking jokes.
"I never act this serious too".
"I probably picked this troublesome habit from you"he said while scratching his head.
"What are you saying?Please explain to me too"Akimitsu asked desperately.
"Both our souls were in this body but never interacted".
"But the moment we met in this world our souls interfered with each other"he looked at Akimitsu expecting him to understand.
"What?"Akimitsu asked while scratching his hair.
"Can't beleive my dopple ganger is such an idiot"
"In other words,we picked each other's habits".
"Thats all fine,but please give me ur powers.I can't give you my body".
"Your body?Its not just your body.Its also mine".
He took him by the collar again.
"What do you mean its also your body?Its all mine"Akimitsu shouted at him.
"Haven't you recognized how similar we look?"he pushed away the hair infront of his face.
Akimitsu then realized.Both of them looked exactly the same.
"It was out of pure luck that you were the first to wake up with the body".
Tell me,do you want to meet Fumiko again?"he asked glaring at Akimitsu.
"Is Ahihito okay?"Akimitsu asked.
"For now"
"but if you keep crying here,no one's gonna save him".
"Right now we need to be united".
"So decide right now brat.Are you gonna give me your body?"
Akimitsu looked at him.
He didn't have much of a choice.
If he was gonna die,he'd rather die trying to survive.
"Fine,go for it"Akimitsu said
He then extended his hand.
Akimitsu hesitantly shook his hand.
"It's gonna be enjoyable"the boy said with a smile
"Anyways,the name's Hagetaka".
