Rarely do I find a romance book that I get so invested in but this book has got me so hooked, I'm hanging on every chapter. The author has a real talent for story telling, slow burn, ache and hope. I especially love how relatable and realistic FMC's responses to the events are based on everything that made her who she is. I don't want it to end, at the same time I can't wait to see how it ends . Thank you Lilac for sharing this book to us!

This book has been amazing so far! I have been unable to put it down, and I'm now sulking, waiting on more chapters to come out. I don't even want to read another book while I wait. I am so excited to see how this finishes out! I've read tons of novels in this genre, this one has definitely been one of my favorites!
Only book i read on this app, it's different from other books, i love the plot & main character. Can't wait for future chapters!
I love the book and it leaves me wanting to know what happens, the slow burn is nice at first and the character development is amazing. Unfortunately in recent chapters it just seems to be dragging, whole chapters are inner monologue or brief exchanges with no actual advancement. I love how raw it is, but I would like to see some advancement in the actual storyline instead of 10 chapters to move ever so slightly forward into the story. Still absolutely amazing how much feeling the author poured into this and it’s a great read.

liked the story but preferably would like it narrated due to my sight issues & other personal problems. I've been following your stories online mainly on YT... enjoying how much you have progressed. thank you for allowing me to escape my reality for the duration of all your posted novels... also keep going pls even though it's hard for me especially knowing I can't get the completed stories! I wish you all the best.
wild story. i cannot believe the thread of the story develops so complex now. although for 155 chapters stalled so much... however , very clever and nicely written . congrats
Wish I could get more than 1 chapter per day. At least 3 chapters would be nice. I don't think this app gives all the rewards I earn. I watch enough videos and look at a lot of ads.

Excelente narrativa. Me encanta como se desarrollo la trama de la historia. Una novela que te engancha al inicio de leerla. Sus personajes están bien pensados y me gusta mucho como van desvelando la trama paso a paso. Definitivamente te mantiene atrapado y con interés de seguir descubriendo más de la historia

I've read stories that plunge the MC into unfortunate situations, but this one is on an entirely different level. I feel like I'm reading Eve's journey through the 9 Rings of Hell.
This book has me on a chokehold. This is my favorite genre but since I started my current career, I haven't had the time to read so I have shocked myself by how much I'm invested in this book after so many years. The highlight of my day since I started is the time I get to read the next chapter. I absolutely love HCL. Thank you, Lilac. You weave an excellent tale.
I love how the character is so relatable, I feel sorry that Eve feels she can't be herself and always on guard around others.
Really enjoying the book. There are sometimes developments that seem to happen a bit to fast or seem contradictory to past events but that is nitpicking. However I am getting frustrated with the app as it is skipping unlocking chapters and I can't seem to be able to go back and get them unlocked. So I could be missing important information as the story develops. I would love to purchase the entire completed book to keep permanently, if that was an option.
Its really a heart felt novel. want to read more , love your work author keep it up.

um wow, not super often that I find a story that makes me genuinely feel for the characters. I've laughed and cried, and then laughed some more all the while curious how this one is gonna end. I've read A LOT of stories in this genre, and wrote A LOT in my own spare time. This story is an absolute banger! Looking forward to reading more!
