The wind blew tirelessly as a Crew of Sailors were given word of what was happening with a man named George Manston being the Captain looking at the board of pan flits and news, but before he could even manage to grab a pan flit that caught the eye of everybody the Dockmaster got on a small box; whistling at everybody for their attention he stopped and looked at them before reading to them,
"Since this day we had basic rules, though now the Government as of today has implimented two new Acts, both of them passed by the Representatives, Checked by the Supreme Court, and Signed & Approved by the Executive Branch or well.. the President in simple terms.. These both Acts called the Maratime Vessel Protection & Search Act of 1815 & Naval Shipment Health Regulations Act of 1815. Both of them are to be enforced due to current events in Europe, but this means now that we will be conducting Searches on every boat & crew. As well, every crew will have to abide by Health Regulations, as well for now we will be going by fleets, as the U.S. The government has told me to tell you all that the U.S. Navy will be escorting you gentlemen to your respected locations, we know that you have to drop off shipments to other locations but thats why we've discussed with Britain on purchasing carriages to carry those shipments once you land at Dover. Furthermore, if anybody wishes to volunteer to deliver a ton of fish to Britain for the U.S. Aide, you will be paid a handsome reward."
Men looked at each other and bickered at the news said to them, though George Manston rose his hand, saying,
"Aye, we'll do it."
His men looked at him as one of them nudged him real quick, saying,
"What for?? The british have already attacked us.. why help them?"
George turned to him as he stared into his eyes, asking his sailor a question in a way of scolding him to reality,
"Havent you read the news? There's a damn new disease going in Europe.. It's turning men to savages, A man accounted for it, and he was a Brit, so we should at least try to help Britain. I mean, god.. they must be needing some food cause look at how many Nations have fallen.. they used to trade with Britain, but now her allies are gone.. I bet you there are starving children over there."
The sailor sighed as he nodded before saying,
"Well, I suppose you're right.. in that case, Skipper might as well begin loading up the fish."
The sailor turned as shouted to his colleagues,
"Comeon you bastards lets load the damn Fish!"
The Sailors quickly got to it as they ran towards the ship and began to ready everything with them loading boxes of dried salted fish in the Hold while George quickly got on the ship as he shouted to the First Mate,
"First Mate, start making a Navagation to Dover. That's our directed area of where we deliever our shipment, we'll be escorted by a Brig!"
The First Mate shouted in response to the Captain,
"Aye, Skipper!"
George chuckled as went down before heading down on the Main Deck where he went to the Boatswain telling him,
"Listen to the First Mate, hes going to tell you when you can begin reefing but for now follow me."
The Boatswain nodded as he said to him as he quickly ran up to the side to him where he followed the Captain, "Aye, Skipper!"
George nodded before walking up to the Helm as he said to the Boatswain, "Sound out the order, All Hands On Deck."
The Boatswain quickly took out the Bosun's Whistle where he sounded out 'All Hands On Deck.' Signaling all men to assemble up to the Deck where he said to them,
"Sea men, I say to you now that we're heading into dangerous waters. Europe is in Shambles and its now our duty that we as Sailoes need to send Aide to the British Citizens. I know many of you may despise the British for their actions but as of right now they're in the need for help. We cant stand aside and watch poor women, and children starve to death, so I ask you now if you wish to leave then go ahead, we're still in the dock. If you wish to stay, then stay but I say now gather your muskets and bring ammo cause I dont know if the 'Blight' will be there."
George turned back as he said to the Boatswain, "Sound out the order to, Pipe Down."
The Boatswain said, "Aye, Skipper." He quickly played the Bosun's whistle as he sounded out the order, 'Pipe Down.' Where the men would be signaled to be dismissed.
The Seamen quickly got off the ship as many of them went home to gather their Muskets and Ammunition where a few went back home and never came back to the ship, though most stayed as they began to prepare for the long journey ahead.
