Chapter 58: Chapter 55: Prophetic [Daisy]

"So what's it like being Cassandra?" Kai asked.

"Well it's weird, you know. I can feel like everyone doesn't trust me. They're all giving me looks like I'm crazy. She was blessed with a power and yet she couldn't use it to save anyone. I wonder how she felt because of that." Daisy had been trying to go through Cassandra's memories, but had some difficulties since the emotions that each one had were overwhelming to say the least.

"Yeah I bet, so what exactly is the plan here?"

"Well I wanna get rid of a curse and who better to call upon than someone who's kind hearted enough and has a bit of an annoyance for her twin brother." Daisy grinned as she prepared three animal sacrifices and set them on fire.

"You know for someone who loves nature, you really didn't hesitate for even a second there." Kai pointed out while stretching a bit.

"Shh! The most important part is coming up now….Artemis, Goddess of the Hunt and the Moon, hear my prayers and undo the curse that I've been burdened with." It was then that a flash appeared.

"Didja think it would be that easy?" Apollo stood before them, as he confidently walked towards Daisy. He was glowing slightly, and gave off this feeling of superiority.

"No…I was just trying to get your attention." He grinned while making a perverted face.

"Finally want me huh? Well you're gonna have to work for it." Daisy planted her feet strongly to the ground and prayed for Artemis more.

"Take. A. Step. Back." Kai moved between the two, something which Apollo didn't take lightly. Kai was sent flying back with a flick, as he rushed back only to be stopped by a wall of flames. Daisy kept praying while creating a wall of vines to delay him even for a bit.

"I see you haven't learned from your mistakes, Brother." A black haired woman with snow white eyes peered at the disgusting deity.

"Aw no fair! I saw her first!"

"Well it's obvious that she doesn't want you, so why don't you leave?" Apollo snarled a bit, as he prepared his bow.

"I'm not leaving empty-handed." They had a staredown until Apollo disappeared in a plume of fire.

"Now that he's gone….you're…cursed." Artemis was stunned by Daisy's predicament, as she looked at her with pity in her eyes.

"Y…yes I am. I'm cursed for no one to believe my prophecies." She looked deep into Daisy's eyes peering into her very soul before tapping her forehead. A small moon appeared on it before quickly disappearing.

"Keep your head up, okay? This'll stop the issue." Artemis disappeared, as Daisy fell to her knees. Tears freely flowed from them, as Daisy looked into a small puddle that formed. One of eyes had changed to a clear blue, as she continued to cry.

"Are you okay?"

"*hic* *hic*....yeah…*sob* she's at peace now…" While sobbing, Daisy found herself somewhere else.

"Thank you, I don't have much time, but…I can give you a hint on what to do!" Daisy saw Cassandra in front of her.

"No, you've done enough. Rest now, we can solve this puzzle our way." Cassandra wiped her eyes and bowed to Daisy.

"One last time then, thank you. I'll leave you with my prophecies, do what you will with them." She hugged Daisy as she slowly disappeared and as the background changed back to normal, "Daisy! Daisy!" To show Kai shaking her.

"Yeah, I'm fine now really. We have work to do, so give me some space and watch and be amazed." Daisy grinned revealing her canines.

"You're sounding like Valor. So what is the plan?"

"We make a show of a prophecy…and then….we lie our asses off! No matter what I actually see!" Daisy smirked and walked proudly to find a stage. She pushed off the actors trying to perform before closing her eyes and making a spectacle of what was happening before her irises completely disappeared when she opened her eyes.

[Those with power must curry favor to avert the great disaster that will befall the land. Troy will fall if every puzzle does not fall into place. War shall not be the answer.]

"The God's have blessed us with an Oracle in our time of need!" Cheers erupted as Daisy made a peace sign to Kai.

"But wait…she said that war is not the answer…then does that mean every person who died..died a meaningless death?" Davis arrived just on time and stretched out his arm, "Do not think so my people! Their deaths have saved the lives of our citizens! And my sister will help prevent any further deaths! Let us rejoice and reconvene at a later date!"
