Chapter 3: Chapter 3: The Hunt (Jay)
"This is a bit of a problem," Jay says to Valor.
"I mean we could use a healer? Another fighter would be nice." Valor replies
"Yeah I agree Val." Leon snickered.
"Val? Aight Val will work"
"My name really isn't that long."
"It's not short enough"
"Hey look over there isn't that the pair we bumped into?" Leon looked to the entrance.
"Eh, do we really want to invite them?" Valor looked towards the street.
"If one of them is a healer than we should be ok," Jay asked.
"Yeah, I'll ask them." Leon walked over to the two girls. Jay watched as Leon held a conversation with them.
"I'm a bit jealous that he can talk to new people like that."
"I could do that…."
Little did he know Leon and the goils already pulled up to them. "Well thanks boiz, these two are Eunice and Daisy, Daisy is a healer so we should be good to go. Btdubs," He suddenly whispered, "they want half the money."
What's BTdubs? Is that like a nickname for a potion?"
"That's understandable right, Jay?" He nods in response.
"We're right here you know."
"What time is good for them?"
"You know they don't look busy. I think any time is good for them." Leon chuckled.
"Why are we still whispering? They're like right in front of us." Valor pointed.
"YO… when are you nerds going to leave?" Eunice says.
"I'm a nerd and I'm proud!" Valor exclaimed.
"I bet you are." Daisy said sarcastically.
"I kinda like these peeps." Leon laughed.
"Let's just leave now? If that's okay with you girls?" Jay asks
"Jay the Gentleman, who would've thought." Valor muttered. Jay shot him an angry glare. As they headed off to the near mountains, Jay showed them the strength potions. They reached the area of the reported goblins
"This is the place?" Eunice asks.
"I hope so since my feet hurt and I drank all the water."
"WE NEED THAT ON THE WAY BACK." Jay quietly shouts.
"WE CAN JUST FIND SOME RUNNING WATER!"
"Ay boys, ladies are present." Leon nodded over behind the trio.
"Oh… so I'm the gentleman"n.." Jay says mocking Val.
"Gentlemen this gentlemen that, say more and I'll tear off your face and attach it to your butt so you suffocate on your own flatulence." - Leon, 2020.
"Aggressive aren't you." Daisy says.
"Wait.. hush.." Jay stated pointing to the goblins, "They're here we should trail them"
"Can't I just kill them?"
"No. we should trail them." Eunice states...
"Let's find their base then."
"Just one, please?"
"No.. you can kill like 10 in the cave."
"Fine…." Valor sniffled.
"Jeez, you're energetic when you want to be." Daisy sighed.
As the night went on they trailed the goblins to their cave. "The ogre is probably their leader so it should be fine, Jay thinks to himself as they enter the dark cave.
"Can I kill them now?"
"Sure?," All of them rushed in ready to kill the goblins. As they entered the giant hall through the path, they saw roughly 15 goblins and a giant ogre.
"I'll take these 3 on the right." Leon said as he ran into the fray.
"Can I take the rest?" Valor jumped up and down.
"Wait don't rush in!" Jay called.
"Are they always like this…"
"For the most part." he replied. As he said that he prepared multiple spells, questioning which to use first. He saw Valor dive into a group of 5 goblins becoming surrounded by each of them. Daisy was attempting to heal him, while Leon had to wolves with him finishing off the three goblins.
Jay muttered, "[STORM]", as he sent a couple of the goblins back. He then saw Eunice who was aiming for the ogre hidden by the pillar. The ogre went and rushed Valor.
Valor had barely taken out two of them as the boss appeared. Eunice wrapped her chain around his leg attempting to make him fall over.
"GET OUT" Jay yelled. He sent a straight fireball in the goblins he had killed and sent a glance to Leon. He saw that Leon with his 2 wolf summons and was rushing toward the ogre.
"Valor, we need help with the smaller ones, finish them off." Leon said, while in combat with the ogre. Eunice's chain had unwrapped from the leg and formed into a reap and used a skill to decapitate the ogre. However, she was unable too, as the ogre used a shield to block.
"Perfect."
Jay noticed how some of the goblins were going to help the ogre, so he sent an earth wall to block out a few. Valor ran to the goblins
"Hey, you guys be careful!" Jay yells to the other 3!"
"Well looks like me and you are in the same boat. There's only 7 left so let's do this."
"Oh you can count..I thought that brain of yours was empty?"
"Oh shut the hell up. I'm smarter than I seem." His blade shone orange. As Valor ran into the battle, he could hear slamming from the other side of the wall. He sent a [Fireball] to help him out. He then noticed toots that seemed to come from the ceiling that restrained the ogre while the others attacked it. While he wasn't paying attention he got knocked by one of the nearby goblins.
"HEY VALOR A LITTLE HELP." as he sent [Mini Missiles]. Little magic bolts hit all of the goblins. Valor rushed up and shoved the goblin into the wall and helped Jay up. The stone wall had fallen apart. He saw the giant ogre pick up Leon and throw him to the other side of the wall. His wolf summons dispersing and the only thought Jay had was, "Oh COME ON!" They both prepared for a hard fight together.
