Chapter 22: Chapter Twenty-Two

Bella had been walking on eggshells with Grey all week. Grey wasn't necessarily mean to her, but he wasn't nice either.

He no longer offered her lunch like he usually did, or force her to eat breakfast with him anymore.

More than all he didn't try to touch her anymore.

She knew it wasn't about the sex, it was about the way she'd pushed him. She would have been hurt too.

It was currently Friday morning- a day to their wedding and she was sitting down with Kelvin and Casey in the cafeteria.

"I'm going to get fired," Kevin groaned as he took a bite of his chips.

"Of course you're going to get fired" Casey fired back. "Who eats fries in the morning?"

"Why did they prepare it then?" Kelvin asked and Bella chuckled watching the duo.

"No don't distract me" Kelvin said, standing up dramatically as she shook his head before Casey pulled him back down to his seat.
