Chapter 14: Chapter Fourteen
Bella clicked on her phone with shaky hands staring at the letter she'd found under her front door.
"Don't think you can run away from us. We are watching you"
She had just moved here, how did they find her? Scared to death, she dialed Anna's number that rang severally but there was no response. She had nowhere else to go and she was scared to stay home alone, they could still be lurking around.
She had deviced a plan, save up and pay her debt considering her salary was even higher in J$C, but It seemed Mr Wang's patience was running thin, and remembering the last time she had found a note she was even more scared.
With no where else to go, she decided to go back to the office and spend the night there. With that, she ran back toward the road hailing a taxi till it came to a stop.
As she drove back towards the office, she kept trying to reach Anna, but her number kept going to voicemail. Letting out a loud sigh, she sank deeper into the chair watching the dark street as she drove towards the office.

She had never been here this late and never realized how many security men lined the company at night. Trying to feign confidence, she walked up to the uniformed men
"Good evening ma'am staff are not allowed past 10 pm" one of them said even without letting her speak.
She felt deflated. She felt humiliated, what did she expect?
"I have nowhere else to go" she tried to plead, recognizing the guard standing by the meeting room the first day she came here.
"I'm sorry ma'am" the Man replied unfazed. "This is against Office policy"
One of the guards had sneakily informed Grey about what was happening and he was watching on his laptop, through the security camera.
She showed up as expected....
Grey sat there in his office watching the drama. When she had totally given up and turned to leave, he instructed the guards to let her in.
With a broad smile, she ran in the doors to the office being shut as soon as she walked in.
She had never seen the office so quiet, there was no other person in it except for the guards outside and the few making rounds on the inside.
She looked round the big building where she could sleep? The place she was most comfortable at, she decided to walk towards the elevator.
As the elevator doors beeped open to Grey's office floor, she walked in looking around the dark room, she turned on the light placing her bags on the couch.
"This is going to be a long night" she mumbled, pulling out her phone again. She tried calling Anna again, but after being led to voicemail several times, she finally decided to give up.

As she stretched over the couch she could see Grey's shadow over from the side of his door making her jump up quickly.
"Sorry sir" she bowed. "I didn't know you would still be in here"
"Who do you think let you in?" He said calling her over with hand. Come join me. Skeptical, but desperate, she decided to swallow her pride and follow him in.
"You could stretch out that couch over there" he said pointing over to a large grey couch that was situated in a side of the office. "It could spread out into a bed"
"thank you" she replied sitting on it as she scanned his face.
"Tomorrow is the last day for my offer" Grey said, looking at her. "You wouldn't need to come to the office this late anymore" he added, making her red with embarrassment.
"Thank you for letting me stay" She replied shyly, no longer being able to look him in the eye.
"It's not free" he replied walking over to her. "I don't give out free favors" "W-why me?" She asked, stuttering under his hard stare.
"Because I know you want me too" he replied now leaning over her their faces inches apart. "It's only going to be for a year and you're free to leave"
He was lying. He was never going to let her go.
"I-I don't know if I want that kind of life" she responded honestly. "I want to live a quiet life away from drama" she added.
Grey was one of the most talked about persons in their state. Evey week, there was always a new hot story about him, and Bella didn't know if she could keep up with that life.
"A court wedding?" He offered. "Just you, me and a judge?" He added but Bella was still hesitant.
As he stood so close to her face he could see her ears turn red and breathing get heavier. He ran his hand through her hair the scent of her strawberry shampoo immediately hitting his nose.
Bella stayed there frozen. And even if Grey wasn't doing anything sexual to her- yet. She was turned in so much she was scared he would notice.
What the hell did she mean telling Anna he wasn't her type. She was whipped for him from the first day they met.
Grey kept staring at her watching as she scanned his face, before placing a soft kiss on her forehead. He knew that look, he had seen it many times on several women, but somehow it pleased him more to see it coming from her.
"I want to kiss you" Grey breathed.
"I don't think that's appropriate," Bella replied blushing.
"I would be kissing you as your fiance not as your boss" he added, watching as her face got redder.
Without waiting for an answer, he crashed his lips on hers.
