Nyx's personality was unique. No one, not even his brother, could tell otherwise. When he got home six minutes after his father called, his blood had swirled around. Fear had seized him without him being able to do anything about it. Never had he been so quickly beside Day, who immediately let go of his father's arm to grab hold of him. He had heard him cry before, but this time his heart broke. It wasn't just Day in the equation; there were also his children!

It took several hours for the contractions to subside on their own. The last time Foud had been so scared was during his assault in his youth. Sitting by Day's bed, holding his hand between his, he looked at Nyx, standing in a room's corner.

"He fell asleep," he announced in a low voice while stroking the back of his hand.

"Well."

"How are you?"

"Better than him, that's for sure."

"You want to talk?"

"Not really."
