The concern of Gold had eased since his nightly discussion with his father. He had managed to sleep peacefully that night, reassured about his future. Just that night. The next day, the behaviour of his brother had been highly anxiety-provoking. Kin kept being at the kitchen window, watching everyone who passed in front of the house. Then the day after. And the next day. Until the doubts of his twin were confirmed one evening when they had decided to order pizza.

"The delivery guy takes time with our order," said Foud, looking at the order tracking on his phone. "He's been down the street for five minutes now, what's he doing? An urgent call of nature break?"

"There's a car parked in front of our house," pointed out Kin, sitting on the sink.

"It happens. Some people stop to call or send a message."

"Does it take a quarter of an hour for that?"
