Chapter 298: Chapter 298 – Next Slate

The crossed sword mark was located 150 meters away from the previous lightning trial. Max already had an idea of what kind of trial and game they had to finish in order to get the next slate.

Following the animal trail proved to be the correct choice. All trails were connected from one mark to another. Choosing the straight path would only slow them down.

Unlike the lightning mark earlier, the double cross sword was pretty easy to spot.

"Whoa… This is amazing."

"Un. It looks like a pyramid without the tip."

What waited for them in the next mark was a large structure made from rock blocks, with stairs on each side heading to the top, which looked like a large square area. The crossed sword mark floated right above that square area.

There was nothing else around them, and the trial hadn't started yet, even when they got close to the building.
