Chapter 92: Her and the two boys

"The name of the scorched maiden? Why?"

"Is there any reason that I cannot take it?" Electra asked.

"Well, there are stories of girls who were given that name," Marjorie said. "And all of them were mysteriously taken by fire."

"If the fire was going to take me for changing my name, so be it," she thought. If that is what will end her life, she would take it gladly.

"I am not changing my decision," she stood stern.

Marjorie sighed. "If that is your wish, I will not stop you though I don't know how your mother will react. Besides, that is not what I came here for."

She asked, "then why did you come?"

"The healer who is looking after Beverly has come and I thought you may want to speak with her."

Osmond sat on the floor with his eyes closed and focused. In front of him, Channing watched from his chair. "Focus, Osmond."
