The man towered over everyone around. His hair was jet black and his eyes were like two shining obsidian. His beard was cut short and even. His face looked as if it was carved from a stone.
His shoulders were broad and his arms beefy. He wore a grey tunic and dark green trousers.
"Harvey," Rufus glared at him.
"Give these ladies some way," Harvey said and folded his arms.
People looked at each other and made a way. There were no more murmurs or laughs or stares. The girls clammed to Valora and entered the room.
They removed their clothes and placed them on the floor. Water flowed, and blood and sand were washed. Six sisters stood in a room, wet and bare.
Outside the room, Harvey was still standing with his arms folded. The girls got back out with their hair wet and their skin clean. Harvey walked with them as they crossed the hall.
"I am Harvey Greene by the way," Harvey said and gave a small bow with his head.
"Thank you for that," Valora smiled.
