Chapter 17: Marriage Conditions
The young man and the woman in qipao moved came in a room having large windows which were showing the scene of cold forest covered in a frost.
The woman liked forest and trees so she had a man made forest set up near house which was visible through the windows of one part of the house.
Tge woman came and sat on the chair placed near the window and started to gaze out whereas the man was standing at one side observing the view.
The view in his was of a beautiful young lady who was lonely and trying to demolish herself in that frost that had covered the forest down there.
She looked at him and stared at him. She saw his deep gaze filled with a feeling which she did not understand.
" Why do you want to marry me ?", she asked straightforwardly.
" Why can't I marry you ?", he smirked.
The things he knew about her included that she was short tempered when people did not answer her question. He wanted to know if it was correct.
She pressed her lips in one line. " Your mother does not like me. She is your mother, you shall follow her choice."
"I am not a mamma's boy to follow her every choice.", he sat on the chair nearby crossed his legs.
Truthfully, he was looking so handsome that she was about to drool. Her self control was being tested again and again.
First, he was irritating her. Second, he looked so handsome that she wanted to pounce on him and kiss his cheeks. She didn't know why she was having this urge. So, she was getting agitated.
"Hum, I can not believe that Mr. Rian will come up this so called 'marriage' idea. Someone must be behind it. Is it you?", she asked as picked up an eyebrow.
" What Mr. Rian do ir think, how will I know ? I also get a letter as you get from him."
She turned her head. She seriously felt an urge to kiss and hit him repeatedly.
" Control, Ammm. Just don't look at this virus.", she mumbled under her breadth.
Looking her acting like this, he also wanted to kiss her. Her expression was really cute and beautiful plus more sexy.
She again asked. This time her voice was hoarse, "You already have a mistress in your family and want me to come. Do you want to belittle me ?"
"Never. That woman is nothing to me. I don't even think her or care of as her sister or anything why do you think so ?", he said immediately.
" Hum, alright. I think you have already done a back ground check one me and even know somethings about me which are hidden from many people for example my education etc.
It does not matter me. You have a woman or two. I really don't care. But, I will marry you on some conditions. These are my personal conditions.", she said as she stood up and cleared the wrinkles that have came in her dress.
He also stood up. He saw directly in her glittering eyes, " I accept your every conditions but I also one condition."
" I am not going to give up on my inheritance, company or projects," she stated clearly as she took a voice recorder from the near by drawer of the table.
"I am not going to ask anything professional.
I want that the time you are married to me, you can not meet any other man. From 'meet', I mean date or look at any other man.", he said seriously as marking his territory.
She stared at him stupidily.She coughed and stated her conditions.
" My conditions are:
First, you will not disturb in my office work.
Second, you can not bring any of your lovers at home.
Third, no sex.
Fourth, if we divorce, I am going to have five percent of your shares in JI.
Fifth, in front of my family, especially, my dad, we will act like a happily married arranged couple. If you want, we can do that in front of your family, I don't mind.", she stated and looked at him to see his expression.
Without even flinching or thinking, he said," I want to cut one condition and change a otger one."
' I know which condition, you want to cut. You don't want your shares to me, right ? And secondly, want to disturb my company's progress and meetings.', she thought.
" I want to cut third one and change fourth one. Instead of five percent, I will give you half of my shares if we divorce." , he stated in a clear voice.
She was dumbfounded. 'Like seriously. Half sgares ?.... If he want to play with me so do...'
" Fine...", with this she head out of the room.
Watching her exit the room, he mumbled.
" Why do you think I will increase the shares? This is because I will never let you escape from my clutches.", he also head outside with a smile.
Meanwhile, in the corridor, Amm also ha a thought, "What have I done ? He out of all my questions, only answered tht one which can be clearly seen on the surface, not the rest. This man is dangerous. He is trying to get hold me but.. let me see how can he trap this rival bird ."
She smirked and entered the hall where everyone was.
