Chapter 4: Afer The 9 Tails Attack
"How strong was the 9 tails?" Itachi asked while we stood at the side, watching as many people joined hands to rebuild the Uchiha clan residence. Itachi was holding Sasuke, who was fast asleep.
"I was scared seeing that thing... I never sensed anything so powerful." I said with a smile, the 9 tails weren't made out of flesh. It was a living chakra, and because of this, the 9 tails fox was immortal. Killing the 9 tails was meaningless as its chakra would just reform, allowing the 9 tails to come back to life given some time.
"If the 9 tails is a 10, then Dad would be a 4 or 3," I said stunning Itachi. The power Fugaku had shown us was monstrous, leaving us frozen out of fear. But that power Fugaku had shown I gave a 3, compared to the 9 tails 10. That meant that Fugaku couldn't even rival 50% of the 9 tails power.
of course, that is without the use of a genjutsu. Fugaku simply needed to lock eyes with the 9-tailed fox, and with that, the 9-tailed fox would be under his control.
"I see... and Hashirama defeated the 9 tails and Madara without the usage of genjutsu," Itachi said while looking at his palm. I nodded lightly, remembering the scene in the anime where Madara joined with the 9-tail fox and faced off against Hashirama... and Hashirama smirked at that.
I smiled lightly, what was such a badass moment for Madara... but it showed just how far I had to go until I was the strongest.
"Itachi!" Izumi called out while running over toward us, it seems like when I disappeared last night, the two became friends in the shelter.
"Is that your little Sister?" Izumi asked after greeting me, and quickly turning to look at Sasuke who was in Itachi's hands. Since Sasuke was a gender-neutral name, it didn't help her knowing Sasuke's gender.
"Nope, thats a boy. A future lady killer, he might rival me." I said while rubbing my shin, causing Izumi to give me a speechless look. She never met anyone who was so... shameless.
"Why are you always wearing sunglasses?" She asked while looking at my sunglasses, she couldn't even see through the glasses to see my eyes. The sunglasses were just too black.
"My eyes are just too beautiful. As beautiful as I am now without them, can you imagine if you saw them? The damage I could cause." I said with a smirk, to which Izumi couldn't help but roll her eyes.
She stepped back slightly, before looking at me and Itachi with a thoughtful look. Last night, Itachi told her we were twins, but it was hard for her to believe that. We didn't look alike, we looked like complete opposites.
Itachi seemed as if he didn't know how to smile, and I seemed like I didn't know how to frown. Itachi was quiet, but I would speak given the chance.
"Are you trying to pick from us which one you would marry?" I asked with an interested look, making Izumi's eye twitch.
"You two don't look like twins, you two are complete opposites." She said to which Itachi nodded lightly in agreement. I was about to speak, but Izumi stepped forward, wanting to hold Sasuke.
Although Itachi was slightly unwilling, he nodded while giving her Sasuke. But as soon as Sasuke left Itachi, Sasuke burst into tears, causing Izumi to panic not knowing what to do. I quickly took the opening and rushed to pick up Sasuke, but with a flash, Itachi appeared, sending me flying away with a kick while he took Sasuke.
"You!" I said angrily, Itachi snorted at me. Yes, he had infused chakra into that kick, or else he wouldn't have been able to touch me. I just didn't expect Itachi to infuse chakra into his kick at the last moment, allowing him to bypass my defenses while catching me off guard. The timing needed for that wasn't simple.
"Is it that serious," Izumi said with a speechless look. Itachi looked away, slightly embarrassed that an outsider saw this event. I angrily walked back to them while rubbing my waist in pain, and glaring at Itachi.
Itachi was stronger than me, without my glasses on, Itachi and I were equals. I hate to admit it, but Itachi was currently more talented than me. Without my eyes, Itachi would be far stronger than me. I needed my eye to keep up with him.
Anyway, we hung out with Izumi. The 9-tail attack happened last night, and the village was working hard. From rebuilding the village to putting to rest those fallen souls, it was all happening at the same time. It was unclear when the village would come together to say goodbye to the fallen souls and try and move past this event.
It took some time, but soon Fugaku came back from the meeting which was being held by the powers of the elders of the hidden leaf. Fugaku wasn't in a good mood which caused us to say goodbye to Izumi and follow Fugaku home.
Well, our home was destroyed. but we did have a tent which we were living in for the time being.
"We are moving to the outskirts of the Hidden Leaf." He said angrily to Mikoto whose eyes widened slightly. Fugaku turned to glare at me, causing me to grow uneasy as I felt like he might know something.
"Minato said a Uchiha saved him. Seeing as the 9 tails were berserk, only a skilled medical-nin on the level of Tsuande should have been able to save her." Fugaku said causing everyone to look at me, to which I blinked innocently,
"Wait? The 9 tails escaped? Or did it take over Kushina's body?" I asked annoying Fugaku as he didn't know. if the 9 tails took over Kushina's body, then it was understandable that Kushina lived, but if Kushina had the 9 tails taken out of her body, it would make no sense for her to stay alive long enough for the 9 tails to be put back inside her. No one should be able to live that long.
"I know it was you," Fugaku said coldly, to which I scratched my head awkwardly,
"I knew this event would have a huge impact on the Uchiha clan, so I went to see if I could lessen the impact on the Uchiha clan. Someone with a Sharingan was controlling the 9 tails, but the chakra used in that genjutsu was a chakra I never sensed before." I said making Fugaku glare harden, but after a moment, he sighed.
"Plus, Minato was going to die. If Minato and Kushina died, on top of everything, we would face the blame of the whole village." I said to which Fugaku's face hardened at the possibility.
"Minato is on our side, but he alone isn't enough to erase the hatred that would spill onto the clan. That hatred needs to be pointed somewhere." Fugaku said in annoyance, to which I thought for a moment.
'Indeed, the hatred of the people needs to be pointed towards something. In the anime, it was Naruto and the Uchiha clan. but now it would be fully the Uchiha clan. Moving is the best move, but my actions seemed to have made things worse for the Uchiha clan.' I thought while thinking hard about what to do.
"Minato is pointing the finger towards Madara, but Madara should have long died. We have to put in work to locate Madara." Fugaku said. The Uchiha clan were the police of the hidden leaf, already, people were against them.
If someone was about to be arrested, someone would come out painting the Uchiha clan as the bad guys. What was the best way to deal with this matter? That was something Fugaku didn't know.
"We should step back, all our actions would be seen in the wrong way by the village. We should be like the Hyuga clan." I said lightly, the Hyuga clan had no real position within the hidden leaf. They pay more attention to their clan.
"What?" Fugaku asked with a frown, the position of the Military Police Force was the best they could get. Why would they lose that? They were the Uchiha clan, they had to have some power within the village, and if best, be Hokage.
"... I'm with Gojo on this. We would look like villains to the rest of the village, and giving them a speech that the Uchiha clan shall take full responsibility for this, before relocating would improve our image somewhat. From there, we simply have to do some small acts to improve our images. Such as completing important missions for the village," Itachi said softly, making Fugaku frown while I nodded lightly.
"At the end of the day, we would have many people who wouldn't want us to be in power. Trying to force it would have the opposite effect, So leave it to our generation to start trying to get the clan a higher position. We are taking a step back to take more steps in the future. With our potential, how many people in the hidden leaf would be our match? If the village doesn't act right, I will just beat them up." I said with a smile, to which Itachi frowned while looking at me.
"That's not how a Hokage should act, and it would only bring the clan more hatred," Itachi said to which I sneered
"If a brat doesn't listen, do you keep babing them, or put them in their place?" I asked in annoyance. Itachi was about to speak, but he was stopped by Fugaku's glare.
Fugaku held out his palm towards me, which I nodded slightly before taking it and shaking it. Fugaku's face darkened while glaring at me, causing me to unwillingly look at him. But slowly, I pulled out a bunch of candy out of my pockets.
"All of them," Fugaku said coldly, to which I unwillingly kept pulling more candy out of my pockets which were hidden all over my jacket. Slowly, a small hill of candy formed in front of me, making Fugaku and Mikoto's faces turn dark.
"If I have to repeat myself..." Fugaku said through gritted teeth, to which I pulled more candy out of more secret pockets. From my shoes to the jacket hood, and even walked over to some more clothing where I pulled out more candy.
Fugaku had to admit it, he was impressed with how skilled I was at managing space, he was just confused as to why my room wasn't so clean. I looked at Fugaku who was glaring at me.
Fugaku had many reasons as to why he didn't want me to run around, letting the world know of my capability. This is because it would put a target on my head. On top of that, the clan had many people in the village who would want us to die. If Minato now ever had a change of heart, I might be the first person he would want gone. It was okay if Itachi showed off, but I was different. I had yet to awaken my Sharingan, yet I already had overpowered eyes that rivaled fully evolved Sharingans.
Fugaku rather have Minato and Kushina die, than have what was happening now happen. I rather have Minato and Kushina live, Danzo was our enemy, and with Minato around, Danzo wouldn't be able to do much. The 3rd hokage was the worst Hokage, who would let his friend Danzo do pretty much anything. Danzo tried to kill the 3rd hokage, yet what did the 3rd hokage do about it? Danzo was still in power, still doing whatever he wished... I just didn't want the 3rd hokage to be in power.
"But I need them to train," I said while looking at the mountain of candy,
"They are like drugs to you right now, go 2 months without getting sugar," He said calmly. It would take about a month for a person's taste buds to reset, if a month could go by, followed by another month getting used to not-so-sweet stuff. Once I eat sweets again, they will be too sweet for my liking, hopefully killing the sweet tooth.
