Chapter 145: Transfer of duties

Zeph slowly got from the large glass desk and walked toward the master bedroom even slower taking three solid minutes to cross the short distance that he would normally cover in just seconds. 

Each step as Zeph used his feet was slow and deliberate as if his feet were as heavy as if they were made out of lead. For Zeph it was like those few feet between the glass desk and master bedroom were millions of miles of harsh terrain, because he was going to have to tell his pets a lie or only partial truth about what he was going to be doing in Central.

The girls almost flinched when they heard the sound of the master bedroom's door's electronic lock disengaging as Zeph used his authority as the primary resident to unlock the door, before opening it slowly.

Zeph walked in and was greeted halfway to the bed by an already naked Laxana and Sonya who wrapped their arms around him coming in from each side and kissed him on the cheeks at the same time.
