"If we look at the transfer itself from a logistical viewpoint it can be broken down into six separate but equally important aspects. Coordination and scheduling, transportation arrangements, security measures, documentation, and personal belongings of the suspect/ inmate, escort and supervision, and finally arrival and processing. After that, they are not our problem anymore."

"Depending on the circumstances of the alleged crime and apprehension, the arresting and initial interrogation conducting officer may be asked to appear during the trial phase but that is a different topic for a different day."
