"Tsk! What the hell is this!" she muttered, her frustration tinged with a growing sense of unease. This wasn't how demon encounters usually went. Where were the fiery blasts, the razor-sharp claws? This creature seemed to be… changing.

As Brittany watched, a shiver ran down her spine. The hulking demon's body began to convulse, its grotesque form shrinking rapidly. The crimson skin, stained with the remnants of its cannibalistic feast, seemed to recede, replaced by… something else. A more human-like form began to emerge, the demonic features contorting grotesquely in the process.
