Chapter 430: Phase Three: Enjoy the Blood IV

Sigh... I don't like this kind of fight... Mercy thought to herself, wearily maintaining her lava shield as the sandstorm raged around her.

She longed for the simpler days, when her only concern was tending to the Living Volcano Mountain and enjoying the warmth of its fiery embrace. Now, she was caught in the midst of a brutal war, forced to fight against those she bore no ill will towards.

Rashid, taking advantage of the chaos, suddenly materialized behind Mercy, his sword flashing in the dim light.

Swung! The blade pierced through Mercy's body, seemingly cleaving her in two.

"You can't kill me that easily," Mercy's voice echoed, her form flickering and reforming amidst the swirling sand. "I cannot be killed."

Rashid, undeterred, retreated and summoned another wave of sand, shaping it into sharp projectiles that hurtled towards Mercy.
