Planning Room 8:00 AM.
Suou yawned while sitting at the head of the table. Today the Five Leaders, the three co-planners, and the secretaries all gathered at the planning table that faces the wall with a projector screen.
Secretary Liao passed around planning reports to those who did not have it yet and started the first slide. Today's planning was adding a new Continent to Planet Genesis. Looks like she was going to take the floor today and present the ideas that have been put forth by everyone in this room.
"Let's begin." Luo says with a nod in her direction.
The first slide started with the continents environment ideas. There were many arguements with this one, which was understandable. Someone pointed out that this Continent should be split with an ocean and located Far East away from the other two Continents. This way a new system could be created.
Suou thought that it was a good idea to create a continent like this. The first two continents were separated using a Desert. They should give players a place that will make them traverse the seas in order for them to get there.
There were five votes for the continents location. As for what the environment would be like, it should be a rocky environment with dense fogs in certain places. This was something one of the co-planners came up with.
The ecosystem will be hard to deal with, so normal humans can't live in a place like this. This is where Earth Spartans come in. It's a type of druid that controls the earth elemental ability. There were also Rock Golems, Earth Tusked Wolves, and so on.
For a place like this, it'll be best to have a wild group of NPCs who have lived and survived in a place like this. The entire continent is nothing but earth and rocks, so just imagine how hard it must be! It sounded realistic enough for Suou.
"I like this idea. Would that mean that homes are made of rocks and earth?" He asked.
"I was thinking that they would be like our ancient neanderthals and would live in caves. It'll be perfect for certain story quests, I also thought having an NPC Favorbility System would be a great addition to this." Wakita Seiki says, he's the third leader.
They started check marking things Suou liked the idea of and deleting things no one liked.
"The NPC Favorbility System will be good for those who wish to recruit them or just have a good relationship for future allies." Luo mutters.
Suou leaned back and studies the screen, "I agree. It would be useful, so we'll keep that idea." He agreed.
Next slide they introduced Sea type creatures. As of now the waters were empty with nothing living in them other than fish. There were some ideas to add the existence of merfolk but in a sense that was different from the legends on Earth.
Merfolk are evil creatures that live in underground caves. They're appearances are nasty and a bit human-like but its way past the beautiful mer-people Earth heard of.
A lot of other creatures were mentioned, but there will be no details on that. They continued forward with the report planning.
Suou felt that they were missing many things that should be brought to their attention. "You guys came up with a great continent, but what about basic details? Will it be one entire territory, like an island. Or will it have many territories and how many? Also, what will you guys call it?" He asked.
The secretary moved to a different slide, "we have some ideas. As for something we thought of. We planned on adding separate islands for each continent that will be added as territories. They can also be places to raid and level up for some of these islands. As for This continent, it will have fifty territories. We agreed it shouldn't be as big as the other two." She explained.
Luo raised an hand and spoke, "actually we though it would be best to it the Earthrock by its appearance." He answered.
It definitely would make sense because of how they were planning to design this continent.
"Alright. So, what will be the main feature of this continent? Is it known for having a series of quests? Things like that?" Suou asked.
"I think this continent should focus on having more quests. There's even been arguements on making a few of the territories burial grounds. Things like ghost, wraiths, and skeletons will be a major monster theme here. And we thought that it would be good to put a major hidden Ancient Tomb Dungeon underwater near the continent." Leader Geng Mi points out.
Suou nodded, "instead make underwater Dungeon types. I like the idea with the monster themes too. What a great idea." He says.
They thought it was also great to create certain disasters in some continents randomly. They will time when to make a disaster and choose among the ones they will create.
"Don't we already have a disaster event system?" Luo asked.
"We do in a way. But this is much more extreme. And can be apart of the main story events. We can release a huge wave of monsters to attack certain places and much more." Suou told them.
"Can we add trial and timed dungeons to the world database?" Leader Ben asked.
"That will have to be put on hold. I can't add anymore dungeon types, which is unfortunate." Suou rejects.
They continued through the meeting, since there would only be fifty territories and one island for Earthrock, they decided to not add a kingdom in any of the territories. Instead the kingdom would be on the island. It's a kingdom for fish people according to the creators.
Suou closed the report book, "is that all for today?" He asked.
The meeting took them a few hours. Since it's a business trip for a week, this was only the first day.
"Yes, we'll have the next report ready for tomorrow. What will the Director do while on your business trip?" Luo asked.
"There's some things I should take care of while I'm still here. You guys should start designing. How long do you guys think the designs will take you?" Suou asked.
"We want to say about two weeks. Until then we'll put in some dungeons we designed already. The players and NPCs have not done anything big yet." Luo answered.
Suou nods, it was to be expected. He dismisses himself to explore the building. It was best he knew his way around as the Director of the organization.
