It was still hard to believe, but he can't refute what he saw. After finally calming down, Shi Fang approached the portal to get a closer look.
"I wouldn't get so close to it. Anyways, as my subordinates, I will explain how this works." Suou says.
Suou went into detail on how he interacts with the portal and why it was important to find clients with no attachments to Earth. After he was finished with his explanation, both Yu Ru and Shi Fang were left speechless.
"So, this leads to another world called Planet Genesis? To top it off, it was a world that you alone created?" Shi Fang repeated some things he heard to make sure he hadn't heard it wrong. Since he was warned not to get too close, he only peered into the white room with curiosity.
Shi Fang turned back to face Suou, "then what's with the white room?" He asked.
"That's what we call a Subspace. Players will enter to set up their player initiation in this room before being teleported to a starter town." Suou explained. He never thought he would be standing here explaining his ability to anyone.
Shi Fang crossed his arms across his round belly before nodding his head as if acknowledging something. "So, my new boss is some kind of World Creator in another world. Interesting." Was all that he said.
Suou stare at him, "that's it? That's all you have to say?" He asked. He expected a more realistic reaction. Something other than shock.
Shi Fang shrugged, "it's not like I can deny what I see. There's literally a portal sitting in your apartment's kitchen. Yu Ru and I will help you find clients, but I have a condition." He points out.
"Another one besides being my subordinate?" Suou asked.
"Well, after closing down the gambling house, I no longer have a place to stay in. Let me live with you and with my money I can pay the bills." Shi Fang offers.
"How..?" Suou stopped before finishing his question. Of course if Shi Fang could find the clients he want, then he must have looked into him as well. While the idea of having someone he barely knew live with him seemed a bit much. If he could pay his rent then he won't have much to worry about.
Once he finished Creating Planet Genesis, he plans to hand over his lease and become a permanent resident of his world. Until then, he could use a roommate.
"Fine, I accept your condition." Suou agrees.
Shi Fang placed a hand on his shoulder, "you won't regret it for sure." He says. He turns toward Yu Ru, "let's go. We should get prepared to move in." He says.
Suou blinks, "wait. We?" He asked.
"Ah, I guess I forgot to mention it. Yu Ru here is actually my nephew who has been living with me. So he's moving in as well." Shi Fang admits.
But he only had one bedroom. Seriously, he must have left out this information on purpose. Suou opened his mouth but closed it again. Whatever, he's sure to figure out the sleeping arrangements later.
"Well then, we'll be heading out." Shi Fang says with a wave of his hand. Suou followed the two to the door to close it behind them.
With those two gone, he can finally relax. Today was his last day on Earth before the portal is forcefully opened and he has no choice but to enter. But before he's forced inside, he should gather some more notes now that he had taken in two unexpected subordinates.
There are some things he should note upon creating Planet Generation. When he added monsters of all kinds into the world he forgot to add the Evolution System for them.
When monsters evolve they become stronger, sometimes the evolution they go through, they're appearances also change. This was something he wanted to be sure to add into the World database.
Another thing he wanted to add was the existence of demons, devils, and even the Demon Lord, King/Queen. It's already possible for players to become one themselves. But he wanted to make sure there would also be NPC type demons, devils, and demon lords/queens.
Since he didn't plan on adding Non player characters into the world just yet, he'll only focus on demons and devils that don't take on human appearances. Their ranks and what kind of demons and devils are in the world will all be randomly generated.
Next, he wanted to note on some things that can be added that has not been added just yet. The property system and how it will be taken care of. If people want to claim land as theirs, wars should not be the only method.
Some may have friendly competition, especially if more than one person wants to lay claim on a certain land. Or if only one person wants to claim the land, they would have to buy the land at an auction. The Black Markets will have days where they are selling property, and days where they sell items and equipment.
It's also best to note that most land may be in territories with kingdoms and the way that property is treated is up to whoever the king or queen is in that territory.
Another thing he should note would be the Build System. Buildings won't just pop out of nowhere like he has been doing. Since there a lot of empty territories without buildings and no way for buildings to be built. He thought to make this system.
Which meant, he needed to add the use of material that are normally used to build. Builders are going to be essential. Suou wanted builders to have mana. Which meant that depending on how high their level, also meant how great the material is and how fast they can build using mana.
In Planet Genesis, a builder can be anyone and are mostly among the elves with the ability to talk to nature itself. It can be used as a Class among players and obtained from a Builder Elf.
He also added the Information System. In a world where most newly built territories need to hire competent people, then they can go to an Intelligence Guild. It would be best to add a few that are secret and hard to find. These will be the ones that are the top five Intelligence Guilds.
Suou tapped his pen on his notes and thought back to Yu Ru. This was why he thought of the intelligence Guild. If Suou planned on building his own territory, then it was efficient to add the possibility to obtain information on others.
This meant he should create a way for Yu Ru, who's from Earth to live up to his hacker skill on Planet Genesis. What class would fit someone who has such a skill, though? Hacker cannot be used as a class in the fantasy world.
Since a fantasy world did not have technology like the technology on Earth then the only way is for them to ask other places what they heard. But rumors aren't going to cut it, since they could be just that, rumors. Then a certain type of Communication Device should be created.
In most fantasy worlds carrier birds were a way for people to talk to each other. That could take days to months, and he wanted there to be a place where people can be creative. A mage might think of a better way to communicate. For now he'll stick with using birds.
So finding information can be used in this way. Of course birds can't speak, so the birds will be spirit animals instead, after all this is a fantasy world he created.
With this not only birds are being used. Any type of spirit animal can be used and they are mostly given to Elementalists. This will give Yu Ru a chance to gather information.
Another thing he noticed after speaking with Shi Fang, was that while he did create a currency system, he hadn't made a way for currency to be dealt with. Shi Fang was once a gambling manager, meaning he has some skill in managing finances in some sense.
This one will be hard. A world can't be filled with smart people. So, on top of a Financial System, then he should make it where it's possible to learn other things in the world. It can't just be skills earned easily like other things which are obtainable through quests.
There should be academies that teach things as well. This was for those who can't obtain things the way others can. The education system will be made for those to learn how to count, read, and write. Also different languages should be created.
It's not possible that everyone will speak the same languages. He'll have to implement languages using the system. Now back to finances.
He's certain that the way finances are handled will be fun for Shi Fang to come up with. Like he said earlier, he didn't want to take the fun out of coming up with ideas in a world where things are years behind Earth. Adding those who deal with money, coming up with ways money can be distributed, and coming up with methods on counting money.
A sound behind him made Suou lose focus on his notes. He had been so distracted that he had not realized how much time had gone by. He turned to see that the portal had been forcefully summoned. Six days had passed since he last stepped into Planet Generation.
The last time, he had leveled up and earned the World Shop. That leaves one more day left until the other territories are generated. Suou entered through the portal. Still, he wanted to add the new systems he came up with quickly.
"(Ding!), System booting. It is currently Nighttime, Early Mid-Spring. Welcome to the Initiation Process. Would the World God like to skip the initiation process?"
"Yes." Suou answered.
"(Ding!), confirmed. Skipping initiation process. Entering Planet Generation. The World God will be spawned into the town Purepeak Village. Please Standby."
