"(Ring!)"
A cellphone can be seen lying on a coffee table. It quietly vibrates as the bright screen is lit up, showing the caller on the screen. Suou, who was sitting on his couch nearby, checked his phone and saw that it was Shi Fang calling him.
"Hello?" He answered.
Shi Fang's husky voice broke through the phone, "I got something for you, meet me at Seesaw Coffee."
"What? Why?" Suou asked.
"Just come." the sound of a click alerted Suou that Shi Fang had hang up. Suou stared down at his phone with a frown. What did he have that the Casino Manager would skip formalities to see him?
Suou stood and grabbed his jacket before heading out of his apartment to go meet Shi Fang at the location he mentioned. Hours later, he stood before Seesaw Coffee and entered. He was greeted by a cool breeze and the sweet aroma of freshly brewed coffee.
Searching the tables filled with customers, he finally spotted Shi Fang sitting by the windows and he wasn't alone. They're eyes met and Shi Fang stood to wave him over. Suou stared at the person sitting beside the manager as he joined them at the four chaired table.
The man had a short buzz cut, lukewarm brown eyes, and thin cheekbones to portray his youth. He's probably in his early to mid twenties.
"Why did you call me?" Suou asked.
Shi Fang took an orange, mid-sized envelope and slid it toward Suou. "Take this. It's a gift, I doubt you'll be disappointed." He says with a wink. Shi Fang leans forward with his arms rested on the table between them.
Suou grabbed the envelope to check its contents, he had no idea what he would find inside. He pulled out some papers and skimmed the first page before quickly looking up at Shi Fang in shock.
Suou slid the papers back into the folder and placed his hand on top, "what's this?" He asked.
Shi Fang sat back with his arms crossed, "It's as you see it. What do you think? Do you like my gift?" He asked.
Suou glanced at the man beside Shi Fang and back again, the contents in that folder was a title deed. It wasn't just any title deed, but the title deed to the Casino Property that Shi Fang was manager at. What he was unsure of, was why?
Suou slid the folder back to Shi Fang, "I don't know what you're up to, but I don't need this." He says.
"It doesn't matter. If you don't take it, I'll sell it to someone who wants it." Shi Fang says not taking the folder back immediately, "also, I'm only showing you that I can be trusted. You told me that you're looking for people without attachments. Well, I no longer have any attachments, wouldn't that say I qualify for what you're looking for?" He asked.
Suou did not see this coming. He again glanced at the man beside Shi Fang, "and this person? Who is he?" He finally asked.
"There you go again. Dodging my question. Alright, I'll let it go for now. As for this fella, he's a hacker named Yu Ru." Shi Fang answers.
Shi Fang noticed the frown between Suou's eyebrows, "before you go and ask me why I brought along a hacker. I'll just explain. This guy here will help look for the clients you need outside the Red Light District. He is also here to sign your contract to change his life." Shi Fang explains.
It's barely been two weeks since he last met up with Shi Fang. Within those two weeks what has this man been thinking about? He even went so far as to shut down his gambling house. Honestly, why was he like this?
"I understand the Hacker. What I still don't understand is you. Why did you go this far? Is my trust that worth it, that you even go so far as to sell the gambling house?" Suou asked.
Shi Fang admit that he never would have gone this far just to prove he can be trustworthy. Not once he thought there would come a day he'd even give up the sweat, blood, and tears he put into that place. But something tells him, that if he didn't, he'd be missing out on something big.
"I do want your trust. But that's not why I gave up everything. I'm curious, so curious that I'm willing to give up everything. I too wish to change my life." Shi Fang answers.
There was no way he could turn him down if it means he had more players. Suou let out a long sigh before standing. "Alright, I get it. I can't turn down someone who wants to change their life. Follow me to my apartment." He says.
The three of them left the cafe and Shi Fang drove them to Suou's place.

Back at Suou's Apartment 1:05 PM.
The three of them sat at Suou's dining table while Suou quickly wrote up two more contracts and handed them over.
"This. I want you to adjust it." Shi Fang slid it back without signing. It seems Yu Ru also didn't sign. Shi Fang tapped the contract lightly with a smile, "please write us a different contract. I want to change my life, but instead, I want to work for you."
Yu Ru nodded in agreement. It seems he doesn't speak much.
"I'm not following." Suou states.
"If I sign this contract, I have a feeling I wouldn't see you for a while. So, we wish to sign a Boss-Subordinate Contract." Shi Fang pointed to him and Yu Ru.
It was strictly said that once a person enters the portal they couldn't come back out. So, what should he do in this situation? He suddenly thought of something. If it was a subordinate contract they wanted, then he understood a way for this to be the case.
Suou took out fresh paper and made two new contracts. There was some similarities to the client contract besides the following. Both the hacker and Shi Fang were given subordinate roles, and even when they enter the portal this will be the case.
He handed over the contracts and waited for them to finish reading it. Neither of them hesitated to sign it despite it being brief.
"It sounds exciting that it's possible to die. I wonder what you will show me, Boss." Shi Fang says sliding over his signed contract.
Yu Ru does the same without hesitation. This type of contract will not keep them from uttering a word of what they will see in this room. But for some reason, Suou felt that he could trust them not to. Beside, Yu Ru seemed to be a mute.
Suou stood and walked over to his printer to make them a copy of their contract and handed over the copies. Afterward, he turned to face his kitchen and called out, "Portal Access!"
When the portal appeared, Shi Fang's facial features changed from calm to being shocked. While he did feel as though Suou was hiding a massive secret. This was not what he had in mind. He thought perhaps he was a secret mafia boss or something.
Shi Fang stood up, "What on Earth am I looking at!?" He asked pointing to the portal. Even Yu Ru looked surprised even if it was subtle.
Suou turned to them, "You tell me." He says with a calm and collected expression.
