Chapter 1: Game Over
Welcome to the World of Integrity! A new tactics game created by me, the Demon God of Destruction, Valdis!
"I'm looking for an overseer who has the ambition of creating their own feudal country to rule and the skills wipe out an entire civilization who dare threaten Monster Race.
Now tell me, human, how would you like to die? Which monster would you like transformed into complete your demon contract!
1. Being stab in public by a hooded assailant and waking up the next day in the body of a Dhampir child living on an uncharted island.
2. Getting hit by the steedless carriage you call truck-kun, waking up the next day in the body of an exile Lizardman wondering arid desert!
3. Choking death on your favorite food laced with a fatal poison and wake up the next day in the body of an enslaved Kobold living in the Royal Capital!
4. Dying peacefully at your magic mirror, you call a computer monitor and waking up the next day in the body of a primitive Goblin residing in a swamp!
"This guy with the God complex is delusional! Yousuke Shigekatsu, a middle-aged Asian American male, said, reading the encrypted game title.
"No wonder people on the forum are ridiculing this MMO website," He said, looking at the free online game on his desktop computer screen, reading comments written by people posting online forum pages.
"He even threatens to murder people who decide to play his flat budget game and convert them into monster characters!
"Know wonder Interpol is after this crazy bastard and warning people to stay off this Creepypasta site."
"Several people have already ended up dead because they were gullible enough to click on this dangerous tab to gain notoriety for their channels , or deliberately commit suicide ended their mersible life."
"The world government has already erased this dark site several times, but it reemerges days later back on the interweb under the same alias and promoting the same antics, as it always proclaims."
"However, I'm not one of those generic people! I have a stable low-income job and am socially active in the cyber community, even if I'm in my thirties."
I was about to close the creepypasta game but was suddenly interrupted by a mobile phone call from my store manager to see if I would come to work early today. One of the part-time associates had a family emergency and needed someone to cover their shift at the local service store I worked at.
I didn't want to go since it was my off day, but the extra pay could help me pay off next month's house payment and utility bills.
I told the store manager I would be there two hours after getting a quick shower and putting on my uniform before leaving my apartment.
I decided to shut down the Integrity game and get ready to leave for work. Still, I accidentally missed clicked on the goblin character options by mistake with my computer mouse carelessly.
Suddenly, I felt nauseous and a burning sensation coming from my heart as my hands began to tremble uncontrollably. I was about to have a heart attack.
I immediately ducked under my bedroom table to unplug the electrical power cord from my desktop processor; as I felt my lungs losing breath every second, I exhaled!
I, fortunately, removed the desktop computer's processor power cord from the bedroom apartment wall outlet, hearing the computer engine turn off abruptly.
When I got up from under my bedroom table, I looked at the desktop computer screen, petrified to see it displaying the MMO browsers still operating without the processor and downloading an ambiguous file from the eerie website.
"Downloading of Dungeon Master System into overseer is completed. Thank you for accepting my invitation Yousuke Shigekatsu!"
It was a direct message sent by Valis himself, thanking me for self-sacrifice my life for his deadly game after the file finished downloading.
"Hey Valdis, I didn't agree to this. It was a mistake! I don't want to die, Goddammit!?
I said, yelling frantically at my zombie computer screen in a horrendous expression.
Suddenly, I felt great pain in my heart as it stopped beating, and I immediately crumpled onto my apartment's bedroom floor. Then I suddenly pass away from the shock and blackout.
"My only regret is not picking the Lizardmen!"
